Additional Land at Auckland taken for the Purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land :—

A. R. P. Being
0 0 28·61 Part Lot 3, D.P. 32693 ; coloured blue.
0 0 1·6 Section 40, Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District ; coloured sepia.

Both being portions of the Waitemata Harbour reclaimed from the sea.

Situated in Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District, City of Auckland. (S.O. 34423.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 8764, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of May, 1947.

Declaring Portions of Railway Land at Matai to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

Situated in the County of Grey. (S.O. 4408.)

In the Westland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 8730, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of April, 1947.

Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of Street in the Borough of Te Kuiti

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section two hundred and twenty-six of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for the North Island Main Trunk Railway and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become street, and that such street shall be maintained by the Te Kuiti Borough Council in like manner as other streets are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with : 6 perches.
Being part Railway land in Proclamation No. 5129.

Situated in Block XV, Orahiri Survey District (Borough of Te Kuiti) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 31494.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 116284, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of May, 1947.
