And whereas the said land is not the land of any serviceman
who is for the time being serving outside New Zealand in any of
His Majesty’s Forces or in any British ship:
Now, therefore, the Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of
section 51 of the said Act, doth hereby declare that the said land is
taken for the settlement of a discharged serviceman, and hereby
specifies the 1st day of July, 1947, as the date on which the said
land shall be deemed to be vested in His Majesty the King.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situate in Block VIII, Mount Robinson Survey
District, containing by admeasurement two hundred and thirty-
one (231) acres three (3) roods twelve (12) perches, more or less,
being parts of Manawatu-Kukutauaki 2c, Nos. 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9,
and being also Lots 4, 5, and 6 on Deposited Plan No. 6255, and
being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title,
Vol. 432, folio 96 (Wellington Registry).

Social Security Pharmaceutical Supplies Regulations 1941.—Notice
regarding Additions to and Deletions from the New Zealand
Formulary
ADDENDUM, APRIL, 1947, TO THE NEW ZEALAND FORMULARY
New Zealand Formulary—Part 1
- (1) The following material is added to paragraph (c) of the
Table of Materials which are unconditionally excluded under
paragraph (a) of clause 5 of the Drug Tariff (September, 1946) :—
Methyltestosterone.
(2) This amendment shall take effect from 1st August, 1947.
- (1) The following materials are added to the Table of
Materials allowed under paragraph (b) of clause 5 of the Drug
Tariff (September, 1946) :—
Thiouracil.
Methylthiouracil.
(2) This amendment shall take effect from 1st May, 1947.
New Zealand Formulary—Part 2
- The references in this part of the New Zealand Formulary
to the First Schedule to the Rules for Prescription Pricing shall,
where applicable, be deemed to be to the Prescription Pricing
Supplement 1947/2 issued by the Pharmacy Plan Industrial Com-
mittee. This amendment shall take effect with respect to all
medical prescriptions and midwifery orders (whatever the date
thereof) that are presented to a contractor for fulfilment on or
after 16th April, 1947.

Economic Stabilization Emergency Regulations 1942.—Wartime
Price Index
Census and Statistics Department,
Wellington, 21st April, 1947.
IN accordance with Regulation 41 of the Economic Stabilization
Emergency Regulations 1942, it is hereby notified that the
wartime price index as at the 15th day of March, 1947 (on base :
15th December, 1942 = 1000), was 1013. This figure indicates
that, after seasonal adjustment has been made in respect of certain
commodities, the prices of which are subject to seasonal movement,
the general level of prices of commodities, &c., included in the
wartime price index was 1·3 per cent. higher at 15th March, 1947,
than at 15th December, 1942.

Appointment of Deputy District Public Trustee
NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the power and
authority vested in me by section 3 of the Public Trust Office
Amendment Act, 1921–22, I, the Public Trustee of the Dominion of
New Zealand, have appointed John William Durey Mardon, of the
Public Trust Office, Wellington, to be deputy of the District Public
Trustee, Dannevirke, during the absence of such District Public
Trustee from his headquarters from any cause, and all previous
Warrants appointing any deputy of the said District Public Trustee
have been revoked.
