Land taken for a Main Highway Depot in the Borough of Pahiatua

A PROCLAMATION

P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I. Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a main highway depot; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 1 rood 3·6 perches. Being Lots 3, 4, and 5, D.P. 655, part Section 21, Block VIII, Mangahao Survey District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificates of Title, Volume 103, folio 188, and Volume 99, folio 235 (Wellington Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of April, 1947.

P URSUANT to section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed : 24 perches. Passing through Section 82. Situated in Block I, Fraser Survey District (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 9537.)

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 124804, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of April, 1947.
