Notice of Intention to take Land in Blocks XIII and XIV, Komakorau Survey District, for Housing Purposes
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for housing purposes : And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Hamilton and is there open for inspection ; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken : 5 acres l rood 33Β·9 perches.
Being part Lot 2, D.P. 3014, and Lots 13, 14, 15, and 16, D.P. 4721, being parts of Allotment 210, Parish of Kirikiriroa.
Situated in Blocks XIII and XIV, Komakorau Survey District (Auckland R.D.).
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 124591, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

OTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the leasehold estate or interest in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held by Eleanor Matthews, wife of Charles Matthews, of Gisborne, Sheep-farmer, for a term of twenty-one years from the first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, under and by virtue of Memorandum of Lease No. 5527, Gisborne Land Registry, for soil-conservation purposes : And notice is hereby further given that all persons affected by the taking of the leasehold estate or interest should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of the said leasehold estate or interest, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

    Exemption Order under the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940
    PURSUANT to the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940,* the Minister of Transport doth hereby order and declare that the provisions of clause (1) of Regulation 7 of the said regulations, so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors, shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provisions shall apply :- A motor-driver's license issued under the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940 to the person described in Column l of the Schedule hereunder may authorize him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment on a farm or market-garden of the respective employer described in Column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorize him, while he is under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.
