Stopping Government Road in Blocks IX and X, Waipu Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section one hundred and forty-nine of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road hereby stopped: 4 acres 2 roods 19 perches.
Adjoining part road in Proclamation 10846.
Situated in Blocks IX and X, Waipu Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 34075.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 124103, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of April, 1947.

Declaring Land acquired for a Government Work, and not required for that Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 1 rood 20.9 perches.
Being part Suburban Section 526, Township of Bunnythorpe, within the Township of Palmerston.

Situated in Block VII, Kairanga Survey District. (S.O. 20409.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108860, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of April, 1947.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest

A PROCLAMATION
By virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.โ€”AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY
All that area in the North Auckland Land District, Great Barrier Island County, containing approximately 290 acres, situated in Blocks V and IX, Fitzroy Survey District, and being Allotments 161, 162, 163, and 225, Aotea Parish. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 15/6, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (North Auckland plan S.O. 34375.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of April, 1947.

Settlement Land in Hawke's Bay Land District proclaimed to be Ordinary Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
Whereas by section forty-nine of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, as amended by subsection one of section ten of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1935, it is enacted that the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare any settlement land to be, inter alia, ordinary Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924:

And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is settlement land within the meaning of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, and it is deemed expedient that the said land shall cease to be settlement land and become ordinary Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities so conferred upon me by the aforesaid section forty-nine, amended as aforesaid, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date of the gazetting hereof the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be ordinary Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
