Notice of General Meeting

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter
of DELICIOUS SPONGES, LIMITED (in Voluntary Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of section 232
of the Companies Act, 1933, that a general meeting of the
company will be held in the office of the liquidator, 53 Fort Street,
Auckland, on Friday, 18th April, 1947, at 11 a.m.

Business

(1) To receive the liquidator's statements of account showing
how the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the
company disposed of.

(2) To direct the liquidator by extraordinary resolution as to
the disposal of the books and papers of the company.

April, 1947, for the purpose of considering the final accounts of the
liquidation.

CHANGE OF NAME OF COMPANY

NOTICE is hereby given that THE CANTERBURY SKIN & WOOL
EXPORTERS, LIMITED, has changed its name to CANTERBURY
SKIN & WOOL Co., LIMITED, and that the new name was this day
entered on my Register of Companies in place of the former name.

EDUCATION BOARD OF THE DISTRICT OF NELSON

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions
of the Education Act, 1914, and its amendments, to execute
a certain public work—namely, to extend the school grounds at
Wakefield—and for the purpose of such public work the land described
in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken under the provisions
of the Public Works Act, 1928: And notice is hereby further given
that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited at
Wakefield Public School and is there open for inspection; and that
all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by
the taking of the said land are required, if they have any well-
grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to
the taking of the said land, to set forth the same in writing, and
send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of
this notice, to the Education Board of the District of Nelson at its
address, being Shelbourne Street in the City of Nelson.

ALL that piece of land containing one acre eighteen decimal five
perches (1 acre 18:5 perches), more or less, being part Section 85,

MESSRS. TANTRUM AND GREENAWAY, LIMITED

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

NOTICE is hereby given that after registration of a statutory
declaration of solvency with the Registrar of Companies a
special general meeting of Messrs. Tantrum and Greenaway, Limited,
was held on the 26th day of March, 1947, when it was unanimously
resolved that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr.
ROBERT PRICE EDWARDS be appointed liquidator of the company.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter
of THE NEW ZEALAND FARMERS' CO-OPERATIVE DISTRIBUTING COMPANY, LIMITED, a company duly incorporated
under the Companies Act, 1933, and having its registered
office at Feilding and carrying on business as Co-operative
Distributors, Mercantile Agents, and Auctioneers.

NOTICE is hereby given that an order of the Supreme Court
of New Zealand dated the 19th day of December, 1946,
confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company
from three hundred and seventy-six thousand one hundred and eight
pounds (£376,108) to three hundred and seventy-five thousand
pounds (£375,000), and the minute approved by the Court showing
with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several
particulars required by the above-mentioned Act, was registered by
the Registrar of Companies on the 27th day of March, 1947.

The said minute is in the words and figures following :-
"The capital of The New Zealand Farmers' Co-operative
Distributing Company, Limited, was by virtue of a special resolution
of the company and with the sanction of an order of the Supreme
Court of New Zealand dated the 19th day of December, 1946, reduced
from £376,108 to £375,000 divided into 375,000 ordinary shares of
£1 each. At the time of registration of this minute 165,968 of the said
ordinary shares are issued, and on each of them the full sum of £1
has been and is to be deemed paid up. The remaining 209,032
ordinary shares are unissued.

NOTICE is hereby given that by an entry in its minute-book
the above-named company on the 27th day of March, 1947,
passed a resolution that the company be wound up voluntarily,
and that HAROLD WILLIAM MULLANEY, Public Accountant, A.M.P.
Chambers, Palmerston North, be appointed liquidator of the
company.

Nelson, on Tuesday, 22nd April, 1947, at 3 p.m., in order that the
liquidator may lay before members an account showing how the
winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company
has been disposed of.
