Manufacture for Sale of Footwear
Felt and Textiles of N.Z., Limited (C. P. and R. Neilson Branch),
Wellington, has applied for an extension of existing license to permit
the opening of a machine room at Picton for machining slippers.

Pharmacy Industry
D. S. Steptoe, 26 Salek Street, Wellington, has applied for a
license to operate a new pharmacy near the corner of Glamis Avenue
and Broadway, Strathmore Park, Wellington.

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
A. B. Port, Ormondville, has applied for a license to resell motor-
spirit from one pump to be installed on proposed new garage premises
at Ormondville.
R. F. Goodman (by Oram and Yortt, Barristers and Solicitors,
Palmerston North), has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit
from one pump to be installed on garage premises at 78 Fitzherbert
Avenue, Palmerston North.
J. M. McGee, Ngongotaha Motor Co., P.O. Box 32, Ngongotaha,
has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from two pumps to be
installed on garage premises at Ngongotaha.
P. W. Lachpuria, Te Whaiti, has applied for a license to resell
motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on store premises at Te
Whaiti.
P. Govind, Storekeeper, Mangapehi, has applied for a license to
resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on store premises
at Morningside, Mangapehi.
J. A. Mazzoleni (by T. C. Webster, Barrister and Solicitor,
Auckland), has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from three
pumps to be installed on proposed new garage and service-station
premises on the south side of Jervois Road between Ardmore Road
and Wanganui Avenue, Auckland.
H. A. Ford (by Bates, Edgar, and Wills, Barristers and Solicitors,
Christchurch), has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from
four pumps to be installed on proposed new service-station premises
at the corner of Blenheim Road and Hanson's Lane, Christchurch.
G. D. Hay, 4A Bloomfield Terrace, Lower Hutt, has applied for
a license to resell motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed on
proposed new garage and service-station premises in High Street,
200 yards north of Park Avenue, Lower Hutt.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be
materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on
these applications should, not later than the 17th day of April, 1947,
submit any written evidence and representations they may desire
to tender. All communications should be addressed to the Acting-
Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

Unclaimed Lands.—Notice by the Public Trustee under the Public
Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its Amendments

To the owner of the following land, that is to say : All that parcel
of land containing 12 acres 3 roods, more or less, being the
eastern portion of Allotment 93 of the Parish of Parahaki,
Block IX, Whangarei Survey District, bounded on the north
by Allotment 91 (462 links), bounded on the east by Allot-
ment 92 (2,920 links), bounded on the south by a public road
(558 links), and on the west by the western portion of Allot-
ment 93 (2,607 links), and being part of the land described in
an unregistered Crown grant dated the 15th day of February,
1892, the grantee whereof is George Miller, of Auckland,
Settler.
WHEREAS, after due inquiry, the owner of the above-
described land cannot be found : And whereas the said
owner has no known agent in New Zealand : Now, the Public
Trustee hereby calls upon such owner, within six months of the date
of the publication of this notice in this Gazette, to establish to the
satisfaction of the Public Trustee his title to the said land, and if
he fails or neglects so to do the Public Trustee will exercise as regards
the said land the powers and authorities granted to him in and by
the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its amendments.

Appointment of Deputy District Public Trustee
NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the power and
authority vested in me by section 3 of the Public Trust
Office Amendment Act, 1921-22, I, the Public Trustee of the
Dominion of New Zealand, have appointed Clarence Noel Irvine,
of the Public Trust Office, Dunedin, to be deputy of the District
Public Trustee, Dunedin, during the absence of such District
Public Trustee from his headquarters from any cause.
