THE MARTON SASH, DOOR, AND TIMBER COMPANY, LIMITED

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of THE MARTON SASH, DOOR, AND TIMBER COMPANY, LIMITED.

NOTICE is hereby given that there was duly registered with the Registrar of Companies at Wellington on the 4th day of March, 1947, a copy of the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand made at Wanganui on the 21st day of February, 1946, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above company from £54,000 to £36,000, and the minute approved by the said Court in connection therewith.

The said minute is as follows:—

“The capital of The Marton Sash, Door, and Timber Company, Limited, henceforth is £36,000 divided into 72,000 shares of 10s. each, instead of the capital now appearing on the register—namely, £54,000 divided into 72,000 shares of 15s. each. At the date of the registration of this minute there is and shall be deemed to be paid on the said shares the sum of 10s. each.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly Societies has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act, 1909, by writing under his hand dated this 21st day of March, 1947, cancelled the registry of Star of Newtown Branch, No. 9, of The Grand United Order of Oddfellows, Friendly Society of New Zealand (Register No. 373/9), held at Wellington, on the ground that the said branch has ceased to exist.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the Bluff Borough Council held on the 14th day of January, 1947, it was resolved to repay the existing debentures six months from the date hereof, pursuant to clause 16 of the Bluff Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1934 (Gazette No. 65, page 2617).

Notice of Voluntary Winding-up Resolution

PURSUANT to section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given that by memorandum dated the 20th day of March, 1947, signed for the purposes of becoming an entry in the minute-book of the company, as provided by subsections (1) and (3) of section 300 of the Companies Act, 1933, the following special resolution was passed:—

“1. That the company be wound up voluntarily;
“2. That Mr. LEONARD JOHN STEVENSON, of Main Road, Upper Hutt, Public Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.

“1. That the period fixed for the duration of the company by memorandum of association having expired, the company be wound up voluntarily.”
