IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

NOTICE is hereby given that the following special resolution was passed on the 17th day of March, 1947, by the above company :—

“1. That the company be wound up voluntarily;
“2. That Mr. JAMES DAVID GEMMELL THOMSON be and he is hereby appointed liquidator for the purposes of such winding up.”

WARKWORTH TOWN BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water-supply Loan, 1946, of £4,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and every other power in that behalf enabling it, the Warkworth Town Board hereby resolves as follows :—

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £4,000, authorized to be raised by the Warkworth Town Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing waterworks for the improvement of the Town District water-supply, including the provision of a new pump, the sinking of a bore, the erection of reservoirs, and the provision of new water main, the said Warkworth Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven-sixteenths of a penny (7/16d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all the rateable property of the whole of the Warkworth Town District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Warkworth Town Board at a meeting held on the 17th day of March, 1947.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of the BULLER AGRICULTURAL LIME COMPANY, LIMITED.

NOTICE is hereby given that an Order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand dated the 28th day of February, 1947, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £5,000 to £2,500, and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered, was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 10th day of March, 1947. The said minute is in the words and figures following :—

“The capital of the company is £2,500 divided into 5,000 shares of 10s. each, instead of the former capital of £5,000 divided into 5,000 shares of £1 each. The company has power to divide the shares in the above-mentioned or any increased capital into several classes at a premium or at par and with any preferential, deferred, qualified, or special rights, privileges, or conditions attached thereto or subject to any restrictions or limitations.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Timaru Housing Loan, 1946, £100,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Timaru Borough Council resolves as follows :—

“That, as security for the payment of the interest and repayment of principal and other charges in respect to the said loan, the Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge a special rate of 0·950d. in the pound upon the amount of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Timaru, such rate to be annually recurring and to be payable in full (or subject to the approval of the Audit Office to such expenditure as is necessary only to raise the amount required) on the 1st day of August in every year until the debentures have been fully paid off.”

OPUNAKE ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other Acts and authorities it thereunto enabling, the Opunake Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows :—

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of sixteen thousand pounds (£16,000), authorized to be raised by the Opunake Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act, for extending the electrical reticulation in the Power Board’s district, the said Opunake Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-eighth of a penny (½d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Opunake Electric-power District as defined in the Proclamations appearing in the New Zealand Gazette of the 18th day of August, 1921, and the 19th day of March, 1925, respectively; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The common seal of the Opunake Electric-power Board was hereto affixed at the office of and pursuant to a resolution of the said Board in the presence of—
