CLASS B.—On the unimproved value of all land so classified as Class B, fivepence and seventy-four one-hundredths of a penny (5·74d.) in the pound.

CLASS C.—On the unimproved value of all land so classified as Class C, threepence and twenty-eight one-hundredths of a penny (3·28d.) in the pound.

CLASS C.—On the unimproved value of all land so classified as Class C, fourpence and nine one-hundredths of a penny (4·09d.) in the pound.

CLASS B.—On the unimproved value of all land so classified as Class B, twopence and seventy-five one-hundredths of a penny (2·75d.) in the pound.

CLASS C.—On the unimproved value of all land so classified as Class C, one penny and fifty-seven one-hundredths of a penny (1·57d.) in the pound.

WAIRERE ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD
Result of Poll for Proposed Loan

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of ratepayers of the Wairere Electric-power District taken on the 30th day of November, 1946, on the proposal of the Wairere Electric-power Board to borrow the sum of three thousand pounds (£3,000), for the purpose of providing additional staff residences either already built or to be built—

Votes.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was .. 158
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 61
The number of informal votes recorded was .. 2

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

WAIRERE ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD
Result of Poll for Proposed Loan

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of ratepayers of the Wairere Electric-power District taken on the 30th day of November, 1946, on the proposal of the Wairere Electric-power Board to borrow the sum of thirty-three thousand pounds (£33,000), for the purpose of erecting a tie line to connect State supply to Wairere supply, and for any work or thing necessary to render the Board’s system better suited for inter-connection with the State supply, also for effecting alterations and improvements to the Wairere Power-station, and purchasing material and equipment (including vehicles) for such work—

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than the 16th day of January, 1947, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender.
