Vesting a Reserve in the Waitemata County Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of December, 1946
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a site for a public hall: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waitemata:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waitemata, in trust, as a site for a public hall.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the County of Waitemata, situated in Block VI, Titirangi Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Lot 40 on D.P. 19099, and being part Allotment 35, Parish of Waikomiti. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/4644, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for plantation purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ashburton:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ashburton, in trust, for plantation purposes.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 6 acres and 9 perches, more or less, being Reserve 4491 (formerly Rural Section 36373), situated in Block VIII, Alford Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/4618, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for a site for a town hall and municipal buildings: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Rotorua:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Rotorua, in trust, as a reserve for a site for a town hall and municipal buildings.

WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto have been duly set apart as reserves for cemetery purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserves in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Greymouth:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserves described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Greymouth, in trust, for cemetery purposes.

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserves described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Palmerston North, in trust, for water-supply purposes.
