Paua Shell Industry

L. J. Green, 37 Mount Eden Road, Auckland, has applied for a license to manufacture paua shell for sale

F. E. Knight, 40 Walton Street, Sydenham, Christchurch, has applied for a license to manufacture paua shell for sale in the capacity of jewellery and inlaying in wood.

K. Douglas, 1 Tole Street, Ponsonby, Auckland, has applied for a license to manufacture paua shell for sale.

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit

T. R. G. Cox, Herbert, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Herbert.

F. J. Gray and R. H. Horsfall, High Street, Carterton, have applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on the kerbside facing garage premises in High Street, Carterton.

Fleet Services, 44 Sale Street, Auckland, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at 44 Sale Street, Auckland.

Northern Trucks, Ltd., Rathbone Street, Whangarei, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed inside garage premises at Rathbone Street, Whangarei.

R. S. Low and R. T. Challis, Stanmore Motors, Christchurch, have applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed inside garage premises at the corner of Stanmore Road and Bruce Street, Richmond, Christchurch.

E. B. Wild, George Street, Tuakau, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises in George Street, Tuakau.

M. S. and J. A. Walker, 579 Sandringham Road, Auckland, have applied for permission to transfer their motor-spirit reseller’s license in respect of six pumps from service-station premises, corner of Dominion and Mount Albert Roads, Mount Roskill, to proposed new service station premises, corner of Tyburnia and Owairaka Avenues, Mount Albert.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than the 26th day of December, 1946, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. Closing of Stamp Duties and Land and Deeds Offices

NOTICE is hereby given that the offices of the Stamp Duties and Land and Deeds Departments throughout the Dominion will close on the afternoon of Tuesday, 24th December, 1946, and will not reopen for business until Friday, 3rd January, 1947.
