Land taken, subject to certain Leasehold Estates or Interests, for Electric Works, in the City of Auckland

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject as to the land first described in the said Schedule to Memorandum of Lease registered No. 376886 (R. 520/307), Auckland Registry, to David Alcock, of Auckland, Builder, subject as to the land secondly described in the said Schedule to Memorandum of Lease registered No. 14977, Auckland Registry, to Elinor Violet Croyden Pickmere, of Auckland, Widow, and subject as to the land thirdly and fourthly described in the said Schedule to Memorandum of Lease registered No. 14208, Auckland Registry, to Charles Henry Frankham, of Auckland, Timber-merchant, for electric works, and shall vest in the Auckland Electric-power Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 124337, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

PURSUANT to section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 324 acres 3 roods 37 perches.
Being part Sections 93 and 94, Square 1, and part Lot 32, D.P. 210, being part Section 96, Square 1, and part Section 30, Square 18.
