FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the County of Waimairi, of the Canterbury Land District, being part of Lot 40 on the plan numbered 201, deposited in the office of the Registrar of Lands at Christchurch, and bounded by a line commencing at a point at the intersection of the southern side of Bowen Street and the western side of Waimairi Road, the said point being on the existing boundary of the Christchurch Drainage District; thence proceeding southerly and westerly by the said Drainage District boundary to the south-west corner of part Lot 40 aforesaid; thence northerly by the western boundary of that Lot 40 to Bowen Street, and easterly along the southern side of Bowen Street to the point of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the County of Waimairi, of the Canterbury Land District, part of Rural Section 56, and being Lots 2, 3, and 4 on the plan numbered 440, deposited in the office of the Registrar of Lands at Christchurch, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point at the south-east corner of said Lot 2 on the north-east side of Yaldhurst Road, the said point being on the boundary of the Christchurch Drainage District; thence proceeding along the north-east side of Yaldhurst Road to its intersection with the south-east side of Church Street; thence by the south-east side of Church Street to the north-eastern boundary of said Lot 4; thence by the north-eastern boundary of said Lots 4 and 3, part of the north-western and the north-eastern boundary of the said Lot 2, to the boundary of the Christchurch Drainage District at the north-eastern corner of said Lot 2; thence in a south-westerly direction by that boundary to the place of commencement.
THIRD SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the County of Waimairi, of the Canterbury Land District, being part of Rural Section 56, and being part of Lots 71 and 72 on the plan numbered 201, deposited in the office of the Registrar of Lands at Christchurch, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point at the intersection of the western side of Waimairi Road with the northern side of Bowen Street, the said point being on the present boundary of the Christchurch Drainage District; thence proceeding westerly 180·9 links along the northern side of Bowen Street to road-widening at the eastern boundary of Lot 1 on the plan deposited as aforesaid and numbered 11174; thence northerly along road-widening and the said eastern side of Lot 1 for a distance of 125 links; thence easterly 180·9 links by a line parallel to Bowen Street to the western side of Waimairi Road, being the present boundary of the Christchurch Drainage District; thence in a southerly direction by that boundary to the commencing-point.
FOURTH SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the Special Area boundary, such point being the intersection with the north-western boundary of Lot 4 on plan deposited in the Canterbury District Land Registry Office as No. 2073; thence north-easterly and south-easterly along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of the said Lot 4 on Deposit Plan No. 2073 and a line in continuation thereof to the Special Area boundary; thence southerly and north-westerly along the Special Area boundary to the point of commencement.
FIFTH SCHEDULE
ALL that area of Land in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the Special Area boundary, such point being the south-eastern corner of Lot 5 on plan deposited in the Canterbury District Land Registry Office as No. 4503; thence south-easterly across Centaurus Road to the north-western corner of Lot 2 on plan deposited in the Canterbury District Land Registry Office as No. 10809; thence easterly and south-easterly along the southern side of Centaurus Road to the north-eastern corner of Lot 3 of the said Deposit Plan No. 10809; thence southerly and south-westerly along the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of the said Lot 3 to the Special Area boundary; thence northerly, north-westerly, north-easterly, and easterly along the Special Area boundary to the point of commencement.
SIXTH SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the Special Area boundary, such point being the north-western corner of Lot 1 on plan deposited in the Canterbury District Land Registry Office as No. 12189; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundary of the said Lot 1, bearing 201° 59′ distance 80 links; thence south-easterly, bearing 111° 59′ distance 187 links approximately; thence north-easterly, bearing 21° 59′ distance 45 links approximately, to the south-western corner of Lot 2 on plan deposited in the Canterbury District Land Registry Office as No. 7896; thence south-easterly and north-easterly along the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of the said Lot 2, Deposit Plan No. 7896, to the Special Area boundary on south-eastern side of Centaurus Road; thence south-westerly along the Special Area boundary to the point of commencement.
SEVENTH SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the Special Area boundary, such point being the north-eastern corner of Lot 2 on plan deposited in the Canterbury District Land Registry at Christchurch as No. 8624; thence southerly, south-westerly, and north-westerly along the eastern, south-eastern, and south-western boundaries of the said Lot 2 to the Special Area boundary; thence westerly along the said Special Area boundary to the point of commencement

I, ERIC LLOYD BIRD, M.B., 1942 (Sydney), Ch.B., 1946 (Sydney), now residing in Auckland, hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 28th December, 1946, to have my name placed on the Medical Register of the Dominion of New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of the Department of Health at Auckland.

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 232 of the Companies Act, 1933, that a general meeting of the above-named company will be held at the office of Mr. T. G. Reynolds, Albany Buildings, Victoria Street, Hamilton, on Friday, the 20th day of December, 1946, at 10 a.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before the meeting showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidator.

PURSUANT to section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held on the 29th day of November, 1946, the following special resolution was duly passed:
“Resolved, as a special resolution of the company, that the company be wound up voluntarily.”

RESOLUTION
THE following regulations were laid before the committee of the Waikouaiti Racing Club (Inc.) at a meeting held on the 29th day of October, 1946, at 7.30 p.m., with a recommendation by the Chairman of such Club, Mr. A. W. Douglass, that the same be passed at once with a view to their approval by His Excellency the Governor-General in pursuance of the Gaming Act, 1908, section 33.
Mr. A. W. Douglass, the Chairman of such club and the meeting moved, and Dr. M. Brown seconded, and it was resolved that such regulations should be adopted and that the Chairman and Secretary be authorized to sign the same in authentication thereof.
The following are the regulations referred to:—
WAIKOUAITI RACING CLUB (Inc.)
REGULATIONS
(Under the Gaming Act, 1908)
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers in that behalf contained in section 33 of the Gaming Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities it enabling in that behalf the Waikouaiti Racing Club (Inc.) a racing club within the meaning of the said Act (hereinafter referred to as “the said club”) doth hereby make the following regulations controlling the admission of persons to that part of the Oamaru Racecourse Reserve situated in the district of Oamaru and known as the Oamaru Racecourse, while the said racecourse is used or occupied by the said club for race meetings.

These regulations shall come into force on the date of the same being published in the New Zealand Gazette.

In these regulations the words “bookmaker,” “racing club,” and “race meeting” shall have the meanings ascribed to those terms respectively by section 2 of the Gaming Act, 1908.

The following persons shall be and are hereby excluded from the racecourse above described while the same is used or occupied by the said club for a race meeting, namely:—
(a) Bookmakers:
(b) Bookmakers’ clerks, bookmakers’ assistants, and bookmakers’ agents:
(c) All persons under disqualification inflicted by any racing or trotting club in the Dominion of New Zealand, the Commonwealth of Australia, or elsewhere if affiliated to the New Zealand Racing Conference, or the New Zealand Trotting Conference, or the New Zealand Trotting Association:
(d) Common prostitutes and persons who habitually consort with thieves or persons who have no lawful visible means of support:
(e) Professional tipsters, persons convicted of house-breaking or pocket-picking, forgery, uttering or possessing counterfeit coin, theft, false pretences, receiving stolen goods, mischief, assault, or any offence or crime of any kind under the Crimes Act, 1908, and also idle and disorderly persons, rogues, and vagabonds, and incorrigible rogues convicted under the Police Offences Act, 1908, and persons convicted of an offence under the Gaming Act, 1908:
