Vesting a Reserve in the Ashley County Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 26th day of November, 1946
Present:

THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for county buildings: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ashley:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ashley, in trust, for county buildings.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
RESERVE 4504 (formerly closed road), Block I, Rangiora Survey District: Area, 2 acres 1 rood 24 perches, more or less.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Takamatua Domain

THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint Harold Odell, Wilfred Ernest Brown, Gordon Alfred Ernest Le Lievre, Ernest Walter Hammond, and Stanley John Kingston to be the Takamatua Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the sixth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Takamatua School as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Revoking Delegation of Power of Appointing Trustees for Flaxbourne Cemetery

PURSUANT to the Cemeteries Act, 1908 His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council made on the eighteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, and published in the Gazette on the twenty-first day of the same month at page 2429, whereby powers of appointing and removing trustees in respect of the Flaxbourne Cemetery were delegated to the Awatere County Council.

Exempting Land (State Coal Reserve) in the Taranaki Land District from the Operation of Part III of the Coal-mines Act, 1925

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by subsection two of section one hundred and seventy-one of the Coal-mines Act, 1925, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be exempt from the operation of Part III of the Coal-mines Act, 1925, and do hereby further declare that this notice shall take effect as from the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

SCHEDULE
FIRSTLY, all that parcel of land situated in the Land Registration District of Taranaki containing 1 rood 14·1 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 6064, and being part of Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 6000, part of the Rangitoto-Tuhua 79c No. 1 Block, and being part of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 150, folio 83 (Taranaki Registry); and, secondly, all that parcel of land situated in the Land Registration District of Taranaki containing 1 rood 18 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 6107, and being part of Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 6000, part of the Rangitoto-Tuhua 79c No. 1 Block, and being part of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 150, folio 83 (Taranaki Registry).
