A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the ninth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to memorandum of lease registered No. 5527, Gisborne Registry, to Eleanor Matthews, wife of Charles Matthews, of Gisborne, Sheep-farmer, for a term of twenty-one years from the first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, for soil-conservation purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the ninth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six.
