Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III
of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936

Radio-manufacturing Industry

R. H. M. Pope, Radio and Electrical Services, P.O. Box 232,
Auckland, has applied for a license to manufacture 200 radio
gramophones per annum.

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit

D. A. and N. K. McRae, Mangamuka Bridge, have applied
for a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed
on garage premises at Mangamuka Bridge.

H. F. Solly, 4 Dekka Street, Khandallah, Wellington, has
applied for permission to shift two pumps at present installed on a
driveway to a new position, one on each side of the entrance to the
driveway from Dekka Street, to permit the servicing of cars on the
inner side of the footpath.

S. J. Hopkins, Winchester, has applied for a license to resell
motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed on garage premises,
Main Road, Winchester.

A. R. Phillips, Whangamata, Waihi, has applied for a license
to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed at the
Whangamata Motor Camp.

D. W. Wright, Riverton Rocks, Southland, has applied for
a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on
store premises at Riverton Rocks.

K. McLellan, Motor Engineer, Lincoln Road, Christchurch,
has applied for permission to change the site of his retail selling
point from 33A Lincoln Road to new premises 240 yards east on
the corner of Torrens and Lincoln Roads, Christchurch.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be
materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry
on these applications should, not later than the 12th day of
December, 1946, submit any written evidence and representations
they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed
to the Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

No. 7 M.T. Store, Luke’s Lane, Wellington.

Tenders close with the Board’s Secretary, Defence Services
Building, Bunny Street, Wellington (postal address, Private Bag,
Lambton Quay Post-office, Wellington), to whom they should be
addressed in envelopes marked “ Tender No. 822 for Surplus Hard-
ware Stocks,” at noon on Monday, 9th December, 1946. Further
particulars and conditions of sale are obtainable from the Board’s
Offices in Wellington and from the Board’s District Offices at
Dilworth Building, Queen Street, Auckland, and Old Art Gallery
Building, Durham Street, Christchurch, and also from the District
Storekeeper’s Office, Public Works Department, Dunedin.
