Notice of Intention to take Land in the Borough of Gisborne for
Housing Purposes

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions
of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described
in the Schedule hereto for housing purposes: And notice is hereby
further given that the plan of the land required to be taken is
deposited in the post-office at Gisborne and is there open for
inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said
land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the
taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such
writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice,
to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken:
19 acres 1 rood 14·7 perches.
Being Lots 14 and 15 and parts Lots 23 and 24, D.P. 138, being
parts Sections 196, 197, 198, 199, 203, and 204, Gisborne
Suburban, and being the whole of the land comprised and
described in certificate of title, Vol. 82, folio 140 (Gisborne
Land Registry).

In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 124249, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
edged green.

The Napier Milk Delivery Scheme, 1940, Amendment No. 3

PURSUANT to the Milk Delivery Emergency Regulations 1945,* the Minister of Marketing doth hereby give notice as follows:—

  1. This notice may be cited as the Napier Milk Delivery Scheme, 1940, Amendment No. 3, and shall be read together with and deemed
    part of the Napier Milk Delivery Scheme, 1940† (hereinafter referred to as the principal scheme).

  2. Clause 3 of the principal scheme is hereby amended by inserting after the word “district” the words “by way of retail delivery in
    quantities of one gallon or less”.

  3. An additional clause is added to the principal scheme as follows:—

“4. The persons entitled to deliver the commodity in the district by way of wholesale delivery in quantities in excess of one gallon and
the extent to which they are so entitled are as follows:—
