IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Raymond Andrew Miller,
William Arthur Habgood,
John Edwin Thomas Greaves,
Alexander Ernest Davis,
Charles Evelyn Watkins,
Alexander Geddes,
Henry William Peryman, and
Charles Ethelbert Howell

to be the Lincoln Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the thirtieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Public Library, Lincoln, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—OREWA DOMAIN
ALL those areas in the Waitemata County, situated in Block VII, Waiwera Survey District, containing by admeasurement 49 acres 2 roods 1 perch, more or less, more particularly described as follows:—

All that area containing by admeasurement 26 acres 3 roods 3·9 perches, more or less, being Allotments 344, 345, 346, 347, part Allotment 319, and part Lot 2 of Allotment 238, Waiwera Parish: Bounded towards the west and north generally by public roads, and towards the east and south generally by the sea.

Also all that area containing by admeasurement 20 acres 1 rood 23·5 perches, more or less, being Lots 122, 123, 124, 125, 126, 127, and 128, Lot 237, and part Lot 101, all of Allotment 279 Waiwera Parish, and part Lot 1 of Allotment 238, Waiwera Parish: Bounded towards the south-west by the Orewa River, the north generally by a Riverbank Reserve, Lots 239 and 110 of Allotment 279, Waiwera Parish, a public road, Lots 111 to 113 inclusive, and Lots 231 to 236 inclusive, the aforesaid lots all being of the said Allotment 279, and towards the east generally by a public road.

Also all that area containing by admeasurement 3 roods 28·6 perches, more or less, being Allotment 353, Waiwera Parish.

Also all that area containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 25 perches, more or less, being Lot 113, as shown on the plan numbered 18948, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, being part of Allotment 95, Waiwera Parish.

Foreshore License.—Slipway, Whitianga Harbour, Mercury Bay Boating Club

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of October, 1946

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby license and permit the Mercury Bay Boating Club, of Whitianga (hereinafter called the licensees, which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Whitianga, Whitianga Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 8544, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a slipway thereon as shown on the said plan, such license to be held and enjoyed by the licensees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

  1. This license is subject to the Foreshore License Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, as far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The premium payable by the licensees shall be two pounds ten shillings (£2 10s.), and the annual sum so payable by the licensees shall be ten shillings (10s.).

  3. The term of the license shall be fourteen years from the 1st day of October, 1946.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS by section four of the Public Service Act, 1912, it is enacted that nothing in that Act shall apply to any officer or class of officers to whom or to which, on the recommendation of and for special reasons assigned by the Commissioner, the Governor-General in Council declares that the said Act shall not apply;
