Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III
of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936
Manufacture for Sale of Footwear
E. Bowers, Bowerco Products, 1 Dixon Street, Wellington,
has applied for an extension of his existing license so as to permit
the sale of baseball boots otherwise than through own shop.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
L. G. McDonald, Main Highway, Otaki Railway, has applied
for a license to resell motor-spirit through a pump to be installed
on premises on the Main Highway, Otaki.
H. W. Rickard, Huia, via New Lynn, Auckland, has applied
for a license to resell motor-spirit through a portable pump to be
installed on store premises at Huia.
H. Bourke and Co., Ltd., 93 Cuba Street, Petone, has applied
for a license to resell motor-spirit from one petrol pump to be
installed inside garage premises at 95 Cuba Street, Petone.
S. T. E. Protheroe, Victoria Street, Triangle, Ashburton, has
applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one petrol pump to
be installed inside garage premises at Victoria Street, Ashburton.
Bolten Bros., P.O. Box 14, Ongarue, have applied for a license
to resell motor-spirit from one petrol pump to be installed at garage
premises, Ongarue.
D. S. Andrew, Greenfield, Balclutha R.D., has applied for a
license to resell motor-spirit from one petrol pump to be installed
at garage premises, Greenfield.
C. P. Heighway, Woodward Avenue, Mangere, has applied for
a license to resell motor-spirit from five petrol pumps to be installed
on proposed new service-station premises at Brown’s Bay, Auckland.
P. L. Coleman, Tahuna Road, Morrinsville, has applied for a
license to resell motor-spirit through a pump to be installed on
garage and service-station premises at Mangateparu.
S. Chase, Box 30, Putaruru, has applied for a license to resell
motor-spirit through a pump to be installed on garage and service-
station premises at Garden Street, Putaruru.
Manufacture of Cement
A. Morrison and Co., Wellington, have applied, on behalf of
a company to be formed, for a license to manufacture cement at
Cape Foulwind, Westport.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves materially
affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on these appli-
cations should make any desired representations in writing to the
Secretary, Bureau of Industry, G.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington, not
later than 21st February, 1946.

PURSUANT to the powers conferred on it by the Control of Prices Emergency Regulations 1939,* the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order :—

This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 480, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 128† (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order).

This Order shall come into force on the 11th day of February, 1946.

The Second and Third Schedules to the principal Order, as set out in Price Order No. 477‡, are hereby revoked, and the following Schedules substituted therefor respectively :—
