  • An allowance of £10 per annum is payable for fire-prevention duties.
    † A £10 per annum standby allowance is payable.
    § Inspectors are not eligible to be advanced to this grade until they have passed the necessary examination.
    (a) £65 per annum deduction made from salary for board and lodging.
    (b) £50 per annum deduction made from salary for board and lodging.
    (c) Also £100 per annum living-out allowance.
    (d) To receive £30 per annum allowance when acting as Night Sister and £10 per annum allowance when acting as Theatre Sister.
    (e) £375 payable if same as Public Works Department Leading Hand.
