APPOINTMENT (TEMPORARY)

Lieutenant (temp. Major) A. G. Lowry, M.B.E., to be Captain.

temporary rank of Major and assumes the acting rank of Major.

Lieutenant (temp. Captain) W. R. Thayer relinquishes the
temporary rank of Captain and assumes the acting rank of Captain.

With reference to the notice published in the New Zealand
Gazette No. 53, dated 1st August, 1946, relative to the relinquishment
of temporary rank of Captain (temp. Major) T. M. Scott, E.D., for
“ Dated 22nd March, 1946,” substitute “ Dated 19th April, 1946.”

N.Z. Artillery

With reference to the notice published in the New Zealand
Gazette No. 50, dated 18th July, 1946, relative to the relinquishment
of temporary rank of Major (temp. Lieutenant-Colonel) E. G. Lewis,
M.B.E., for “ Dated 8th June, 1946,” substitute “ Dated 22nd June,
1946.”

With reference to the notice published in the New Zealand
Gazette No. 53, dated 1st August, 1946, relative to the relinquishment
of temporary rank of Lieutenant (temp. Captain) W. R. Thayer, for
“ Dated 2nd April, 1946,” substitute “ Dated 30th April, 1946.”
With reference to the notice published in the New Zealand
Gazette No. 61, dated 5th September, 1946, relative to the relinquishment
of temporary rank of Captain (temp. Major) A. Huata,
after the word “ Major ” insert the words “ and assumes the acting
rank of Major.”

cancelled.

Colonel (temp. Brigadier) A. E. Conway, C.B., O.B.E.,
relinquishes the appointment of Adjutant-General and Second
Military Member of the Army Board. Dated 31st August, 1946.
Lieutenant-Colonel (temp. Brigadier) K. L. Stewart, C.B.E.,
