Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Sheffield Domain

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Charles Clifford Innes,
Henry Maxwell Bull,
Raymond Champion Townshend,
Thomas Llewellyn Jenkins,
Leicester Tiverton Wright,
Frederick Alexander Bull, and
Frank John Jenkins
to be the Sheffield Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the twenty-second day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s Room, Sheffield, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE
SHEFFIELD DOMAIN.—CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 20 acres, more or less, being Reserve numbered 2377, situate in Block XIII, Oxford Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by the Main West Coast Road, 1255 links; towards the north-west and south-west by Reserve 1241, 1398·1 links and 1607 links respectively; and towards the south-east by a road-line, 1441·7 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/495, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

G. Allen’s Bakehouse, Kakahi, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section forty of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that from and after the thirtieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six, the public domains described in the Schedules hereto shall be united to form one public domain, to be known as the Tapanui Domain.
FIRST SCHEDULE
TAPANUI DOMAIN.—OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 69 (formerly parts of Sections 62 and 1061B), Block XIII, Glenkenich Survey District: Area, 49 acres 2 roods 25 perches, more or less.
Also Section 70 (formerly part Section 62), Block XIII, Glenkenich Survey District: Area, 6 acres 2 roods 12 perches, more or less.

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the twenty-second day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, and published in the Gazette of the thirtieth day of that month, the control of the land described in the Schedule to that document, being a reserve for a site for a public hall and library, was vested in certain persons therein named, who were by the said Order in Council constituted a special Board, by the name of the Owhango Public Hall and Library Board, in pursuance of section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928:
And whereas it is desirable that Edward John Summers and Terence Raymond Bennett, of Owhango, should be appointed members of the said Board in place of Frank Edgar Southcombe and William George Wall, who have resigned:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby appoint the said
Edward John Summers and
Terence Raymond Bennett
to be members of the Owhango Public Hall and Library Board, constituted by the Order in Council dated the twenty-second day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, hereinbefore referred to, in place of the said Frank Edgar Southcombe and William George Wall, who have resigned.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 18th day of September, 1946
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the West Harbour Borough Council on the second day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six, in so far as it affects the portions and sides of streets described in the Schedule hereto, viz.:
“That the West Harbour Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the Borough of West Harbour, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of street known as Ross Street adjoining that piece of land being Allotment 5, Block VI, Rothesay Second Extension, and to that portion of street known as Hill Street adjoining that piece of land being Allotment 14, Block VI, Rothesay Second Extension”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-eastern side of the portion of Hill Street or the north-western side of the portion of Ross Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centres-lines of the said portions of streets.
