WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows :—

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £654 (being part of a joint special loan of £12,500, to be known as the ‘Auckland Suburbs Joint Transit Housing Loan, 1946’), authorized to be raised by the Waitemata County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of taking over and converting, with associated local bodies, Camp Bunn at Tamaki for a transit housing scheme, the said Waitemata County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/50th of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Titirangi and Waikumete Ridings of the County of Waitemata; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

NOTICE is hereby given that I, the undersigned ELDON JOHN GRAHAM, of Frankton Junction, Factory Hand, heretofore known as ELDON JOHN BLYTHE, have by deed-poll dated the 29th day of August, 1946, and enrolled in the office of the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Hamilton, renounced and abandoned the use of the surname of BLYTHE and assumed and adopted in lieu thereof the surname of GRAHAM for all purposes whatsoever.

THE liquidator of The Kaitieke Finance Company, Limited, which is being wound up voluntarily, doth hereby fix the 1st day of October, 1946, as the day on or before which creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 258 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved, or, as the case may be, from objection to such distribution.

I, RITA MAY MORSE, of Auckland (now lately called RITA MAY GRIEVE), do hereby give notice that I have by deed-poll dated the 8th day of August, 1946, and duly enrolled in the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Auckland on the 4th September, 1946, under No. M. 258/46, absolutely renounced and abandoned the use of my former surname of GRIEVE and in lieu thereof have assumed and adopted the surname of MORSE, so that I may henceforth be called and known not by my former surname of GRIEVE but by my assumed surname of MORSE, and for the purpose of evidencing such change I hereby declare that I shall in all actions and proceedings, dealings, transactions, and upon all occasions use and subscribe the said surname of MORSE in lieu of my former surname of GRIEVE; and I hereby expressly authorize and request all persons at all times henceforth to designate and address me by my said assumed surname of MORSE accordingly.
