In so far as the foregoing notice affects works which by virtue of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, the Public Works Act, 1928, or any other statute or otherwise howsoever, the Gisborne Borough Council is empowered to undertake, the Gisborne Borough Council hereby joins in giving and affirms the said notice.
