SECOND SCHEDULE
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT
ALL that parce of land containing ninety-six (96) acres two (2) roods thirty-five (35) perches, more or less, being part Section 30, Block XIV, Ngaere Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at New Plymouth numbered S.O. 8229, and thereon edged red, and being part of the land contained in certificate of title, Vol. 37, folio 176 (Taranaki Registry).

The Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943.—Notice declaring Land taken for the Settlement of a Discharged Serviceman
WHEREAS an application has been made for the consent of the Land Sales Court to a transaction which relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto and to which Part III of the Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, applies:
And whereas the Land Sales Committee to which the application has been referred is of opinion that the land to which the application relates is farm land suitable or adaptable for the settlement of a discharged serviceman:
And whereas the said committee, not being satisfied that the Crown had decided not to acquire or arrange for the acquisition of the land, did on the 11th day of July, 1946, make an order determining the basic value of the land and no appeal from the said order was made within the time prescribed by the said Act or within any further time allowed by the Court:
And whereas the said land is not the land of any serviceman who is for the time being serving outside New Zealand in any of His Majesty's Forces or in any British ship:
Now, therefore, the Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 51 of the said Act, doth hereby declare that the said land is taken for the settlement of a discharged serviceman, and hereby specifies the 23rd day of September, 1946, as the date on which the said land shall be deemed to be vested in His Majesty the King.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL those parcels of land containing together thirty-seven (37) acres and thirty-one (31) perches, more or less, situate in Block IX of the Paekakariki Survey District, being parts of Section 4 of the Pahautanui Agricultural Reserve, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 353, folio 238 (Wellington Registry).

The Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943.—Notice of Intention to take Land
THE Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 24 of the Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, hereby gives notice of his intention to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto under Part II of the said Act, and specifies the 28th day of February, 1947, as the date on which possession of the land is required, and the 23rd day of September, 1946, as the date on or before which objections may be made under section 25 of the said Act.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that parcel of land containing by admeasurement two hundred and seventeen (217) acres one (1) rood and eighteen (18) perches, more or less, situated in Block III, Christchurch, and Block XV, Rangiora Survey District, being Rural Sections 1824, 2043, 2098, 2218, and part Rural Section 1042, and being all the land comprised in certificates of title, Vol. 396, folio 112 (limited as to parcels), Vol. 8, folio 96, and Vol. 329, folio 78 (Canterbury Registry).

Declaring a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area
PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1946, I, Benjamin Roberts, Minister of Marketing, being satisfied that a sufficient majority of the producers in the area of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirous that such area should be declared to be a pool area for the marketing of bobby calves, do hereby declare such area of land defined as aforesaid to be a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area for the purpose of the said regulations under the name set out in the said Schedule; and I do hereby further declare that this notice shall take effect on the 29th day of August, 1946.
SCHEDULE
OHOKA AND DISTRICT BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA
ALL that area of land lying within the Eyre County, and bounded by a line commencing at the point on the said county boundary at the junction of the Waimakariri River with the North Branch River, Block XVI, Rangiora Survey District; thence following the northern boundary of the Eyre County in a westerly direction to the north-western corner of Section 7117, Block IX, Rangiora Survey District; thence following the western boundaries of Sections 7117, 7192, 8275, and 2953, Block IX, Rangiora Survey District, in a southerly direction to the south-western corner of the said Section 2953; from this point in a straight line across country in a generally south-easterly direction to the point where Cust and Eyre Road intersects the Kaiapoi-Oxford Branch Railway; thence following along Cust and Eyre Road in a generally south-easterly direction to the point where the said road meets the Eyre Main Drain; thence following the Eyre Main Drain in an easterly direction to the south-eastern corner of Section 7867, Block XV, Rangiora Survey District; thence in a straight line across country in an easterly direction to the south-western corner of Section 733, Block XV, Rangiora Survey District; thence following Cherry Road in a south-easterly direction to the Waimakariri River; thence following the Waimakariri River downstream to the junction of the Waimakariri River with the North Branch River, being the original point of commencement.

ALL that area of land lying within the Coromandel County, and bounded by a line commencing at the point where the southern boundary of Block IX, Coromandel Survey District, intersects the eastern shore of the Te Kouma Harbour; thence following the northern shore of the said Te Kouma Harbour in a westerly direction to the sea-coast; thence following the western coast-line of the Coromandel Peninsula in a generally northerly direction to Cape Colville, and continuing from this point in a generally southerly direction along the east coast of the said peninsula to the Whangapoua Harbour; thence following around the western and southern shores of the Whangapoua Harbour to the mouth of the Owera Stream; thence following the western bank of the said stream upstream to the point where the said stream intersects the northern boundary-line of Block XII, Coromandel Survey District; thence following the northern boundary-line of the said Block XII in a westerly direction to the north-west corner of Block XII, Coromandel Survey District; from this point in a straight line across country in a south-westerly direction to the Motutere Trig., situated in the southern portion of Block XI, Coromandel Survey District; thence in a straight line across country in a westerly direction to Trig. Y, situated on the southern boundary of Block X, Coromandel Survey District; thence following the southern boundaries of Blocks X and IX, Coromandel Survey District, in a westerly direction to the point where the said southern boundary of Block IX, Coromandel Survey District, intersects the eastern shore of the Te Kouma Harbour, being the original point of commencement.

THE following special order made by the Kowai County Council on the 12th day of July, 1946, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928.
SPECIAL ORDER
“In exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928, the Kowai County Council hereby resolves and declares, by way of special order, that the plants mentioned in the Schedule hereto (being plants mentioned in the Second Schedule to the said Act, as extended from time to time by the Governor-General in Council) are noxious weeds within the County of Kowai.
