A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six.

PURSUANT to section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as street :
3 roods 0·49 perches.

Being part Section 16, Sawyers Bay District.

Situated in the Borough of West Harbour (Otago R.D.).

In the Otago Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 123973, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of August, 1946.

Land reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation :

Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

SCHEDULE

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 1,623 acres, more or less, being Sections 4 and 5, Block VII, Linkwater Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/791, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of August, 1946.
