Additional Land taken for the Wellington-Napier Railway (Palmerston North–Woodville Branch, Palmerston North Deviation) in Block VII, Kairanga Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the Wellington-Napier Railway (Palmerston North–Woodville Branch, Palmerston North Deviation).

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 2 roods 22·7 perches.

Being part Suburban Section 1506, Township of Bunnythorpe, within the Township of Palmerston.

Situated in Block VII, Kairanga Survey District. (S.O. 20409.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108860, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged violet.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of August, 1946.

Land taken for the Purposes of Linen-flax Development (Methven Factory) in Block VII, Spaxton Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of linen-flax development (Methven Factory); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 44 acres 3 roods 24 perches.

Being part Lot 11, D.P. 6231 (part Rural Section 17229).

Situated in Block VII, Spaxton Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 7662.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 123142, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of August, 1946.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a secondary school; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 5 acres 0 roods 6·4 perches.

Being part land on D.P. 3690, and being part Sections 40 and 41, Block VII, Town District (City of Dunedin), and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 281, folio 247 (Otago Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of August, 1946.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a gravel-pit and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Pahiatua as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 1 perch.

Being part Section 107.

Situated in Block VI, Mangahao Survey District. (S.O. 21369.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 123412, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of August, 1946.
