THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE
DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP
NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore sub-
sisting between E. C. H. MEYER and R. F. ALLEN, carrying on
business as battery-manufacturers at Balm Street, Newmarket,
Auckland, under the style or firm of "Northern Battery Co.,"
has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 30th June, 1946,
so far as concerns the said E. C. H. MEYER, who retires from the
said firm. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be
received and paid respectively by R. F. ALLEN, who will continue
to carry on the said business.

MEMBERS' VOLUNTARY WINDING UP
PURSUANT to section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933, notice
is hereby given that by special resolution of the above-named
company passed on the 9th day of August, 1946, it was resolved
that the company be wound up voluntarily.
It was further resolved that CYRIL LUTON STURGE, Public
Accountant, Epworth Chambers, Hereford Street, Christchurch,
be appointed the liquidator of the company.

In the matter of the New Zealand Insurance Company Trust
Act, 1916.
Annual Statement
I, ROBERT KING, Trust Manager, do solemnly and sincerely
declare:-

  1. That the liability of the members is limited.
  2. That the capital of the company is £1,500,000, divided into
    1,500,000 shares of £1 each.
  3. That the number of shares issued is 1,500,000.
  4. That calls to the amount of £1 per share have been made,
    under which the sum of £1,500,000, has been received.
  5. That the amount of all moneys received on account of
    estates is £23,712,427 5s.
  6. That the amount of all moneys paid on account of estates
    is £23,586,782 3s. 5d.
  7. That the amount of the balance held to the credit of estates
    under administration is £125,645 ls. 7d.
  8. That the liabilities of the company at the close of its financial
    year (to wit, the 31st day of May, 1946) were:-
    Debts owing to sundry persons by the company, viz: On
    judgment, nil; on specialty, nil; on notes or bills, nil; on simple
    contracts, £260,741; on estimated liabilities, £1,247,713.
  9. That the assets of the company on that date were:
    Government securities (New Zealand), £676,215; Government
    securities (British and British dependencies), £2,738,686; bills of
    exchange and promissory notes, nil; cash at banker's and in hand,
    £271,950; other securities, £3,176,207.
    And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing
    the same to be true and by virtue of the provisions of an Act of the
    General Assembly of New Zealand intitled the Justices of the
    Peace Act, 1927.

    (3) Those who died from accident occurring or disease
    contracted while training with or attached to the
    lst New Zealand Expeditionary Force of New
    Zealand.

    THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE
    SUBSCRIPTIONS.-The subscription is at the rate of
    £3 3s. per annum, including postage, PAYABLE IN
    ADVANCE.
    Single copies of the Gazette as follows:-
    Ordinary Weekly Gazette: For the first 32 pages, 9d.,
    increasing by 3d. for every subsequent 16 pages or
    part thereof; postage, 1d.
    Supplementary and Extraordinary Gazettes: For the
    first 8 pages, 6d.; over 8 pages and not exceeding
    32 pages, 9d., increasing by 3d. for every subsequent
    16 pages or part thereof; postage, 1d.
    Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line
    for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and
    any subsequent insertions.
    All advertisements should be written on one side of the
    paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
    hand.
    The number of insertions required must be written
    across the face of the advertisement.
    The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday
    evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be
    received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the
    day preceding publication.
    STATUTORY REGULATIONS
    UNDER the Regulations Act, 1936, statutory regulations
    of general legislative force are no longer published
    in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one
    or more of the following arrangements:-
    (1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for
    filing) subscription 30s. per annum in advance.
    (2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram,
    25s. (Volumes for years 1940, 1941, and 1942 are
    out of print.)
    (3) Serially as issued and annual bound volume, as in
    (1) and (2) above, on combined subscription basis,
    42s. per annum in advance.
    (4) Separate regulations as issued.
    (5) Loose-leaf binder for filing serial issues, 10s. 6d.;
    postage free.
    The price of each regulation is printed thereon, facilitating
    the purchase of extra copies.
    Orders on the subscription basis should be placed now
    with the Government Printer, Wellington. Separate copies
    may be purchased at the Chief Post-offices at Auckland,
    Christchurch, or Dunedin.
