Declaring a Portion of Railway Land near Bryndwr to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 2 acres 1 rood 21·4 perches. Being Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, D.P. 11289 (part R.S. 143), and being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 456, folio 222 (Canterbury Registry).

Situated in Block XI, Christchurch Survey District, Waimairi County.

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 8417, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of August, 1946.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a mental hospital; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the nineteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six.
