Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1944.—Revocation of Declaration of Essential Undertaking No. 164
IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 11 of the Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1944, the Minister of Industrial Man-power doth hereby revoke the Declaration of Essential Undertaking No. 164, as published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 56 of 30th August, 1945.

THE Controller of Man-power doth hereby give notice that the Hon. the Minister of Industrial Man-power has made the following amendments to the declarations of essential undertakings as enumerated hereunder as from 31st January, 1946:—

Economic Stabilization Emergency Regulations 1942.—Wartime Price Index
IN accordance with Regulation 41 of the Economic Stabilization Emergency Regulations 1942, it is hereby notified that the wartime price index as at the 15th day of December, 1945 (on base: 15th December, 1942 = 1000), was 1003. This figure indicates that the general level of prices of commodities, &c., included in the wartime price index was 0·3 per cent. higher at 15th December, 1945, than at 15th December, 1942.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of ratepayers of the Borough of Marton, taken on the 8th day of December, 1945, on a proposal of the Marton Borough Council to borrow the sum of £4,500, for the purchase and installation of one filter, pipes and fittings, excavation work, and the erection of a new filterhouse incidental thereto—

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
T. D. Webster, Ltd., 23 Pukaki Street, Rotorua, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one petrol pump to be installed at proposed garage and service-station premises situated at the corner of Tutanekai and Pukaki Streets, Rotorua.
W. J. King, Matai Street, Manunui, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one petrol pump to be installed at proposed garage and service-station premises, Manunui.
J. Moulden, Te Teko, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from two petrol pumps to be installed at proposed service-station premises, Te Teko.
J. D. Lewis, 4 Maungakiekie Avenue, One Tree Hill, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from four petrol pumps to be installed at proposed service-station premises situated at the corner of Patterson Avenue and Kepa Road, Mission Bay.

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to an application in that behalf made to me by the Green Island Coal-miners’ Industrial Union of Workers, registered No. 996, situated at Dunedin, and in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 22 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, it is my intention to cancel the registration of that industrial union after the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, unless in the meantime cause is shown to the contrary.

Notice of Vesting of Land in the Public Trustee under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, Part II (Unclaimed Lands)
WHEREAS I, the undersigned, the Public Trustee, have for the purposes of Part II of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (relating to unclaimed lands), made due inquiry with respect to the lands described in the Schedule hereunder and the whereabouts of the owner thereof, and have, in respect of the said lands, given notices prescribed by section 66 of that Act, and have in all respects complied with the provisions of that Act pertinent hereto: And whereas the owner has not established his title to the said lands as required by that Act, I hereby give notice that the said lands are under and by virtue of that Act vested in the Public Trustee as aforesaid as from the date of the publication hereof, and will be administered under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, the value of the lands for the purposes of section 67 (d) of that Act being less than five hundred pounds (£500).
