prising dwelling, outbuildings, fencing, felling, and grassing.
The section is situated on the Mangaone Road, three miles
from Reikorangi Post-office and six miles from Waikanae Railway-
station by bitumen and metalled road. It comprises all hilly
land, rising very steeply from the Waikanae River frontage.
Approximately 75 to 100 acres are in bush, and the remainder of
the property is badly affected by noxious weeds. The land is
watered by streams. The property is not suitable as a separate
holding.

Town Land in Wellington Land District for Selection on Renewable
Lease
District Lands and Survey Office,
Wellington, 2nd July, 1946.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open
for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924;
and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey
Office, Wellington, up to 4 o'clock p.m. on Monday, 29th July, 1946.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the
District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, on Wednesday,
3lst July, 1946, at 10.30 o'clock a.m., but if any applicant is
unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board
or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the
examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to
pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first
half-year's rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and amount of
weighting for improvements.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.--TOWN LAND
Kiwitea County.--Rangiwahia Township
SECTION 84 : Area, 1 acre. Capital value, £30. Half-yearly rent, 15s.
Weighted with £ll (payable in cash) for improvements, com-
prising felling, grassing, stumping, and fencing.
The section is situated in Rangiwahia Township, the school
and post-office being near at hand. This is a good quality section
of flat land, with about ¼ acre in scattered second growth. The
soil is a loam resting on clay formation. The section is not watered.

undersigned.
