WANGANUI-RANGITIKEI ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928, and the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-power Board proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a public work—namely, the acquisition of land for the site of a dwellinghouse and depot in connection with the operations of the Board at Hunterville—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice is hereby given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Secretary of the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-power Board at his office, No. 83 St. Hill Street, Wanganui.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land situate in the Provincial District of Wellington, containing 1 rood 23 perches, more or less, being Lot 66 of subdivision of part Hapopo Block, Ongo Survey District, the plan of which subdivision is deposited in the District Land Registry Office as No. 297, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 54, folio 202 (Wellington Registry).

PURSUANT to section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given that the following special resolution was passed on the 24th day of May, 1946:—
“ Resolved, as a special resolution, by a memorandum signed for the purpose of becoming an entry in the minute-book of the company, as provided by subsections (1) and (3) of section 300 of the Companies Act, 1933:—
“ 1. That the company be wound up voluntarily;
“ 2. That Mr. R. W. F. WOOD, of Otahuhu, Solicitor, be and he is hereby appointed liquidator of the said company.”

THE WELLINGTON EDUCATION BOARD
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1928
NOTICE is hereby given that the Education Board of the District of Wellington requires to take the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto.
The land is required for the purposes of a public work—namely, the extension of the Muritai School-site.
Notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land described in the First Schedule hereto is open for inspection at the following places:—
(1) At the Post-office, Eastbourne.
(2) At the offices of Messieurs Brandon, Ward, Hislop, and Powles, Solicitors, 150 Featherston Street, Wellington.
(3) At the office of the above-mentioned Board, 65 Abel Smith Street, Wellington.
All persons affected by such taking are hereby required to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Secretary of the above-mentioned Board at his office at 65 Abel Smith Street, Wellington.
