NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, the following decisions have been made in respect of applications for licenses.

Manufacture for Sale of Footwear
S. Button and Son, 46 Upper Queen Street, Auckland, have applied for an extension of their existing license so as to permit the manufacture of girls’ and maids’ footwear by the machine-sewn, fair-stitch, and cement processes.
H. M. Escott, 2 Hope Street, Grey Lynn, Auckland, has applied for a license to manufacture women’s sandals.
Radio-manufacturing Industry
D. P. Corrigan, Vincent Precision Radio Service, 827 Colombo Street, Christchurch, has applied for a license to manufacture radio receiving-sets.
Pharmacy Industry
A. R. Petrie, 16 The Terrace, Wellington, has applied for a license to operate a new pharmacy at Fendalton.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
A. H. Turner, High Street, Eltham, has applied for permission to move one pump from inside garage premises situated in High Street, Eltham, to a position on the kerbside.
H. N. Washington Winchester, has applied for permission to shift three pumps installed on store premises at Winchester to a new site on the opposite side of the road.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than the 20th day of June, 1946, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to the Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.
