Allocating Land taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Street at Papakura

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a street :
Now, therefore, I, Sir Michael Myers, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two hundred and twenty-six of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a street, and that the said street shall be under the control of the Papakura Borough Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

Road traversing Native Land proclaimed as a Public Road in Block II, Waoku Survey District, North Auckland Land District

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the road described in the Schedule hereto traverses Native land and has been used by the public as a public road, and has been formed, improved, or maintained out of public funds or the funds of the local authority :
And whereas the Native Land Court, by an order made on the nineteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, and issued pursuant to sections one hundred and sixty-two and four hundred and eighty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, ordered and declared the said road to be a public road :
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section four hundred and eighty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931 :
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road should be proclaimed as a public road :
Now, therefore, I, Sir Michael Myers, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road described in the Schedule hereto.

Authorizing the Acquisition of Land notwithstanding the Provisions as to Limitation of Area

Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section two hundred and forty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the disposition to and the acquisition by Thomas Borthwick and Sons (Australasia), Limited, of the land described in the Schedule hereto, or of any estate or interest therein, notwithstanding the provisions of Part XII of the said Act.
SCHEDULE
FIRST, all that parcel of land containing 11 acres 2 roods 11 perches, more or less, being part of Tawhiti 1A 2 Block, and being all the land described in Certificate of Title, Volume 62, folio 8 (Gisborne Registry).
Secondly, all that parcel of land containing 1 acre 2 roods 2 perches, more or less, being the Ngawhakatutu A 12 Block, and being all the land described in Certificate of Title, Volume 80, folio 173 (Gisborne Registry).
