NOTICE has been received, under the hand of the Returning Officer for the purposes of the first election of members of the Kekerangu Rabbit Board, that—

James Gordon Murray,
John Archibald Paton,
Edgar Wilfred Rollason, and
John Lindsay Rollason

have been duly elected to be members of the said Board.

Plant declared a Noxious Weed in Weber County.—(Notice No. Ag. 4283)

THE following Special Order made by the Weber County Council on the 12th day of April, 1946, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928.

SPECIAL ORDER

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928, the Weber County Council hereby resolves and declares by way of Special Order that the plant mentioned in the Schedule hereto is a noxious weed within the County of Weber.”

The Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940.—Notice fixing Prices of certain Grades

Office of the Minister of Marketing,
Wellington, 30th April, 1946.

PURSUANT to Regulation 5 : 1 of the Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940, I hereby fix the following prices per loose bushel to be paid by the Marketing Department for lemons delivered to the Department during the undermentioned period.

The prices of Preferred Commercial and Commercial Grades are fixed on a basic rate of 4s. 8d. per loose bushel.

Period of delivery (both days inclusive): 1st May to 31st May, 1946:—

Loose packed fresh lemons, Preferred Commercial s. d.

Declaring a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area

PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1946, I, Benjamin Roberts, Minister of Marketing, being satisfied that a sufficient majority of the producers in the area of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirous that such area should be declared to be a pool area for the marketing of bobby calves, do hereby declare such area of land defined as aforesaid to be a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area for the purposes of the said regulations under the name set out in the said Schedule, and I do hereby further declare that this notice shall take effect on the 16th day of May, 1946.

SCHEDULE

WAIHAO BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA

ALL that area of land lying within the Waimate County, and bounded by a line commencing from the point on the sea-coast at the mouth of the Makikihi River; thence following the northern bank of the said river upstream to the point where this river bank intersects the eastern boundary of Section 19620, Block 1, Waimate Survey District; thence in a straight line across country in a north-westerly direction to Mount Cecil, situated in the north-eastern corner of Block 4, Waihao Survey District; thence in a straight line across country in a westerly direction to Mount Aitken, situated in Block 2, Waihao Survey District; thence in a straight line across country in a southerly direction to Mount Welsh, situated in Block 1, Elephant Hill Survey District; thence due south in a straight line across country to the northern bank of the Waitaki River; thence following the said river bank downstream to the sea-coast; thence following the sea-coast in a northerly direction to the mouth of the Makikihi River, being the original point of commencement.

Redefining a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area

PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1946, I, Benjamin Roberts, Minister of Marketing, being satisfied that a sufficient majority of the producers in the area of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirous that such area should be declared to be a pool area for the marketing of bobby calves, do hereby declare such area of land defined as aforesaid to be a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area for the purposes of the said regulations under the name set out in the said Schedule, and I do hereby further declare that this notice shall take effect on the 16th day of May, 1946.

SCHEDULE

GREY DISTRICTS BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA

ALL that area of land lying within the Grey and Inangahua Counties, and bounded by a line commencing at the point on the sea-coast at the mouth of the Taramakau River; thence following the Grey County boundary in an easterly and then generally northerly direction to Mount Haast; thence in a straight line across country in a generally westerly direction to Mount Cairns, situated on the northern boundary of the Grey County; thence following the Grey County boundary in a westerly direction to the sea-coast; thence following the sea-coast in a southerly direction to the mouth of the Taramakau River, being the original point of commencement.
