Leasehold Estates or Interests in Land taken for Electric Works in the City of Auckland

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Sir Michael Myers, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estates or interests in the land described in the First Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King by the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Newmarket under and by virtue of memoranda of lease deposited in the office of the General Manager, New Zealand Railways, at Wellington, under numbers 24097, 24569, and 24233, and that the leasehold estate or interest in the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King by Leonard Geofrey Moller and Horace Ernest Carter, both of Auckland, Motor Engineers, trading under the style or title of “Moller and Carter,” under and by virtue of memorandum of lease registered in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under number 17309, are hereby taken for electric works, and shall vest in the Auckland Electric-power Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Sir Michael Myers, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a roadman’s cottage; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six.
