The Wanganui Milk Delivery Notice 1946, Amendment No. 1
PURSUANT to the Milk Delivery Emergency Regulations 1945,* the Minister of Marketing doth hereby give notice as follows:—

This notice may be cited as the Wanganui Milk Delivery Notice 1946, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Wanganui Milk Delivery Notice 1946† (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).

The principal notice is hereby amended as follows:—
(a) In the heading “The Wanganui Milk Delivery Notice 1936,” by substituting for the figures “1936” the figures “1946”
(b) In clause (8), by revoking the words “A. Seddon, 12 Central Avenue, Wanganui” (in relation to zone numbered 7), and substituting the words “J. Chalk, 60 Jellicoe Street, Wanganui East.”

Defining Extended River Limits for Deep-sea Sports Fishing out of Leigh Cove
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section 189 of the Shipping and Seamen Act, 1908, I, James O’Brien, Minister of Marine, do hereby define the Leigh Cove extended river limits within which extended river limit vessels may ply for the purpose of deep-sea sports fishing to be within a ten-mile radius of the eastern entrance point of Leigh Cove.

The Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943.—Notice declaring Land taken for the Settlement of a Discharged Serviceman
WHEREAS an application has been made for the consent of the Land Sales Court to a transaction which relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto and to which Part III of the Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, applies:
And whereas the Land Sales Committee to which the application has been referred is of opinion that the land to which the application relates is farm land suitable for the settlement of a discharged serviceman:
And whereas the said committee, not being satisfied that the Crown had decided not to acquire or arrange for the acquisition of the land, did on the 20th day of March, 1946, make an order determining the basic value of the land and no appeal from the said order was made within the time prescribed by the said Act or within any further time allowed by the Court:
And whereas the said land is not the land of any serviceman who is for the time being serving outside New Zealand in any of His Majesty’s Forces or in any British ship:
Now, therefore, the Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 51 of the said Act, doth hereby declare that the said land is taken for the settlement of a discharged serviceman, and hereby specifies the 14th day of May, 1946, as the date on which the said land shall be deemed to be vested in His Majesty the King.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL those parcels of land containing together six hundred (600) acres two (2) roods and eleven (11) perches, more or less, being Rural Sections 21114, 9052, 18657, 21113, and 21261, and parts Rural Sections 5396, 9050, 9051, and 29219, all situated in Blocks I, II, V, and VI, Paeroa Survey District, and being all the lands comprised in certificates of title, Vol. 95, folio 89, Vol. 99, folio 8, Vol. 130, folio 255, Vol. 154, folio 134, and Vol. 240, folio 285, and the residue of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 113, folio 290 (Canterbury Registry).

ALL that parcel of land containing sixteen (16) acres and three (3) roods, more or less, being Sections 9 and 10A, Block XVI, Cloudy Bay Survey District, and being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 13, folio 207 (Marlborough Registry).
Also all that parcel of land containing twenty-five (25) acres and three (3) roods, more or less, being Section 11, Block XVI, Cloudy Bay Survey District, and being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 13, folio 209 (Marlborough Registry).
