Classification of Roads in Inglewood and Stratford Counties

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport doth hereby approve of the Inglewood County Council’s proposed classification of the road described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Inglewood County, and doth also approve of the Stratford County Council’s proposed classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Stratford County.


SCHEDULE

INGLEWOOD AND STRATFORD COUNTIES

Roads classified in Class Four: Available for the use thereon of any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle or any trailer which with the load it is carrying has an axle weight of not more than 3½ tons on any one axle, or of any other heavy motor-vehicle which with the load it is carrying has an axle weight of not more than 4 tons on any one axle:—

Devon Road—North Egmont Main Highway No. 821 (that portion within Inglewood County from the Radius Line to the end of the said main highway near the North Egmont Hostel).

Stratford—Mount Egmont Main Highway No. 360 (that portion within Stratford County from the Radius Line to the end of the said main highway on The Plateau).

Maniaia—Dawson Falls Main Highway No. 824 (that portion within Stratford County from the Radius Line to the end of the said main highway at the Dawson’s Falls Hostel).
