- No person shall take or kill native or imported game on the 4th, 5th, or 6th days of May, 1946, while occupying any stand, hide, loo, or position, as commonly used by duck-shooters (hereinafter referred to as a stand) which has been duly claimed by any other license-holder in accordance with the following provisions:—
(a) A stand may be claimed by the planting thereon at any time after noon on the 27th day of April, 1946, of a stake with a board attached having plainly marked thereon the name and address of the claimant and the number of his license:
(b) No person shall claim more than one stand:
(c) No stand shall be claimed on or within 100 yards of a stand which has already been duly claimed by any other person, except with the consent of such last-mentioned person:
Provided, however, that any stand which is not occupied by the claimant within half an hour after sunrise on any of the aforesaid days may be occupied on that day by any other license-holder:
Provided further that nothing in this clause contained shall be deemed to affect in any way whatsoever the rights of owners or occupiers of any lands in respect of shooting on such lands.
- Excepted areas wherein imported game and/or native game shall not be taken or killed during the open season:—
Swamp on Messrs. McLean and Antonovich’s property on the Whangarei-Waipu Road, about six miles from Waipu, together with an area of 200 yards from the edge of the said swamp.
An area extending for five miles along the Waipu-Maungaturoto Road from the boundary of the Whangarei County towards Waipu and being bounded on either side of the road by lines 100 yards from and parallel to both sides of the said road.
Allotments 45, 46, 49, and 50, Kaitara Parish, Purua Survey District, containing 1,580 acres, more or less.

Notice of a Scheme of Development and Reconstruction in and adjacent to the Boroughs of Birkenhead and Northcote and the County of Waitemata
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 29 of the Finance Act (No. 3), 1944, I, Robert Semple, the Minister of Works, hereby give notice of the nature of the work included in the scheme of development and construction described in the First Schedule hereto, and that the approximate boundaries of the area hereby affected are as described in the Second Schedule hereto, such area being hereinafter referred to as “the area.” This notice shall remain in force until the 30th day of September, 1956.
FIRST SCHEDULE
NATURE OF WORK
THE development of the area for residential and business and industrial purposes with the provision of additional, and the improvement of existing, access and public utilities and amenities, including in particular the provision of:—
(1) Transport.—New and additional facilities for the conveyance of passengers and goods to and from and within the area.
(2) Arterial Vehicular Access.—New arterial vehicular access and improved existing vehicular access throughout the area, and in particular to and from Albany to Birkenhead and Northcote.
(3) Roads and Streets.—The legalization and construction of roads and streets within the area where determined by the Minister of Works to be necessary.
(4) Drainage and Sewage Disposal.—The provision of new and the improvement of existing drainage and sewage-disposal works.
(5) Water-supply.—The provision of new and the improvement of existing water-supply works.
(6) Electricity.—The construction of transmission-lines, substations, and other electrical installations, and the supply of electrical energy within the area as determined by the Minister of Works to be necessary.
(7) Buildings.—Buildings and sites for the General Government and for local government.
(8) Housing.—The construction of dwellinghouses and other works provided by the Housing Act, 1919, and its amendments, and the development of areas for residential, business, and industrial purposes.
(9) Recreation.—The provision of facilities for recreation within the area.
(10) Harbour Works.—Reclamation and other harbour works.
(11) Education.—The provision and development of educational buildings and sites.
(12) Industrial Sites.—The provision and development of industrial sites.
(13) Postal Facilities.—The provision of new and the improvement of existing postal and communication services, including buildings.
(14) Storage Dumps.—The provision and development of storage, metal, and equipment dumps within the area.

APPROXIMATE BOUNDARIES OF AREA
ALL that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the boundary between Allotments 121 and 152, Takapuna Parish, twenty (20) chains west of the western side of Glenfield Road; thence northerly generally along a right line to the western corner of Allotment 210, Takapuna Parish, along a right line to the western corner of Lot 1 on D.P. 24792, being part Allotment 147, Paremoremo Parish, along a right line to the northern corner of Lot 9 on D.P. 8226, being part of Allotment 37, Paremoremo Parish, being a point on the left bank of Lucas Creek; thence along the said left bank to the western corner of the abutment of a public road, passing through Allotment 33, Paremoremo Parish aforesaid; thence southerly generally along the western side of the said road to the north-eastern corner of Allotment 326, Paremoremo Parish aforesaid; thence along the north-eastern boundary generally of that allotment and the north-eastern boundary of Allotment 327 of the said Paremoremo Parish to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned allotment; thence along a right line to the northern corner of Lot 2 on D.P. 25852, being part Allotment S.E. 205, Takapuna Parish; thence along a right line to the southernmost corner of Allotment 116, Takapuna Parish aforesaid; thence along another right line to the junction of the southern side of Pupuke Road with the western side of Kauri Glen Road; thence along the western side of Kauri Glen Road to its junction with the northern side of Onewa Road, along the northern side of Onewa Road to the south-western corner of Lot 1 on D.P. 29629, being part Allotment 18, Takapuna Parish aforesaid; thence southerly generally along a right line across the said Onewa Road, to and along the eastern side of Queen Street to a point being the south-western corner of Lot 6 on Deeds Plan 231, being part Allotment 30 of the said Takapuna Parish; thence along a right line across the said street, to and along the south-eastern side of another public road to the shore of Little Shoal Bay; thence westerly generally by a right line across the said Little Shoal Bay to the south-western corner of Lot 1 on D.P. 11421, being part Allotment 61, Takapuna Parish aforesaid; thence northerly generally along the western boundary of the said Lot 1, to and westerly along the southern side of Hinemoa Street to a point due south of the junction of the northern side of
