War Assets Realization Board.—Disposal of Electrical Components and Materials

WHOLESALE electrical traders, manufacturers, and trade organizations desiring to establish purchasing rights for direct trading with the Board should submit applications for registration.

Applications should be addressed to the Board's Secretary, Defence Services Building, Bunny Street, Wellington (postal address, Box 5080, Lambton Quay, Wellington), and should reach the Board's office not later than Thursday, 18th April, 1946.

CROWN LANDS NOTICES

Town Land in Wellington Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease

District Lands and Survey Office,

Wellington, 2nd April, 1946.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, up to 4 o'clock p.m. on Monday, 27th May, 1946.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, on Wednesday, 29th May, 1946, at 10.30 o'clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at the conclusion of the ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year's rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and weighting for improvements.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LAND

Pahiatua County.—Block VIII, Mangahao Survey District PART Lots 21 and 22, D.P. 301, being part Section 21 : Area, 32.89 perches. Capital value, £200 ; half-yearly rent, £5.

Weighted with £550 (payable in cash) for improvements, comprising old post-office building, containing seven rooms in fair state of repair.

The section comprises level land situated at corner of Main and King Streets, Pahiatua, with large frontage to Main Street. The property is a good business-site.

Education Reserve in Southland Land District for Lease

Invercargill, 2nd April, 1946.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned education reserve is open for lease under the provisions of the Education Reserves Act, 1928, and the Public Bodies' Leases Act, 1908; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Invercargill, up to 4 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, 7th May, 1946.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Invercargill, on Thursday, 9th May, 1946, at 10 o'clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot the first half-year's rent, broken-period rent, valuation of improvements, and lease fee.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.—EDUCATION RESERVE Town of Lumsden

SECTION 8, Block VII : Area, 1 rood. Annual rental, 15s.

  2. Term of lease : Twenty-one years.

  3. Perpetual right of renewal for further similar terms at rents on fresh valuations under the provisions of the Public Bodies' Leases Act, 1908.
