Also that part of Wirikino Riding of the County of Horowhenua lying to the east of the summit of the Tararua Range.

All that area comprising the County of Hawera, the County of Patea, the County of Waitotara, the Borough of Hawera, the Borough of Patea, the Town District of Waverley; that part of the County of Eltham lying to the east of a line commencing at a point on the county boundary, being the north-eastern corner of Section 19, Block X, Ngaiere Survey District; thence by a line in a southerly direction along the eastern boundary of Sections 19 and 20, the southern boundary of Section 20, and eastern boundaries of Sections 21, 22, and 28 of Block X, Ngaiere Survey District, to the boundary of the Borough of Eltham; thence by the eastern and southern boundaries of the Borough of Eltham to the Waingongoro River; thence by the said river to the southern boundary of the County of Eltham; also that part of the City of Wanganui lying to the south-west of a line commencing at a point on the city boundary at the junction of Fitzherbert Avenue and Carlton Avenue; thence by a line to and along Carlton Avenue, London Street, Smithfield Road, Moore Avenue, Alma Road, Collins Street, Koromiko Road, Cambridge Street, Caius Avenue, the Wanganui-Castlecliff Railway, and a road abutting the north-eastern boundary of Land Transfer Plan No. 4715, to and across River Bank Road to the Wanganui River.

All that area comprising that part of the City of Wanganui lying north-east of a line commencing at the junction of Fitzherbert Avenue and Carlton Avenue; thence along Carlton Avenue, London Street, Smithfield Road, Moore Avenue, Alma Road, Collins Street, Koromiko Road, Cambridge Street, Caius Avenue, the Wanganui-Castlecliff Railway, and a road forming the north-eastern boundary of Land Transfer Plan No. 4715 running south-east from Balgownie Station, to and across River Bank Road to the Wanganui River; also that part of the County of Wanganui lying south-west of a line commencing at a point on the Wanganui River, being the north-western corner of Section 109, Block II, Ikitara Survey District; thence south-easterly along a road known as Kaimatira Road, across Sections 109 and 117 of Block II aforesaid, to and along a road known as Gordon Road forming the eastern boundary of Section 83 of Block II aforesaid, and the production of that road to the Wanganui-Marton Railway; thence along the aforesaid railway to the Okoia Station; thence southerly along a road to the northern boundary of Section 57, Block VI, Ikitara Survey District, being the northern boundary of Purua Riding; thence along the aforesaid riding boundary to the old Wanganui-Marton Railway near the south-eastern corner of Section 270, Block VII, Ikitara Survey District; thence along the old railway to the southern boundary of Purua Riding near Baker’s Crossing, and along that riding boundary to the Wangaehu River, being the county boundary.
