All that area comprising the Borough of Waihi, the Borough of Tauranga, the Borough of Mount Maunganui, the Borough of Te Puke, the County of Tauranga, the Tairua Riding of the County of Thames, the Waihi, Waihi West, and Townships Ridings of the County of Ohinemuri, and that part of the County of Rotorua lying to the north of a line along the south-western boundary of Section 3, Block II, the western and south-western boundaries of Section 13, and the south-western boundaries of Sections 6, 10, 8, and 9, Block III, and the south-western boundaries of Sections 8, 4, 5, and 7, Block VIII, all of Rotorua Survey District, to the Tauranga-Rotorua Road, along that road and the Awahou Stream to Lake Rotorua, along the generally northern shore of Lake Rotorua and along the Ohau Stream to Lake Rotoiti, along the generally southern shore of Lake Rotoiti to Rotoiti Block, along the southern boundary of that Block and the southern boundary of Hongi’s Track Scenic Reserve to the Rotorua-Whakatane Road, and along that road to the county boundary; and including Shoe Island, Slipper Island, Motiti Island, Mayor Island, the Aldermen, and other adjacent islands.

All that area comprising the Borough of Cambridge, the Borough of Te Awamutu, the Town District of Leamington, the Town District of Putaruru, the Cambridge Riding of the County of Waikato, the Mangapiko, Kaipaki, Pukekura, Rangiaohia, and Orakau Ridings of the County of Waipa, and the Karapiro, Maungatautari, Hinuera, Te Poi, Tirau, Okoroire, Putaruru, and Tokoroa Ridings of the County of Matamata.

WAITOMO

All that area comprising the Borough of Te Kuiti, the Borough of Waitara, the Town District of Otorohanga, the County of Kawhia, the County of Otorohanga, the County of Clifton, the County of Whangamomona, the Kakepuku Riding of the County of Waipa, the Hangatiki, Mairoa, Paemako, Awakino, Mahoenui, Aria, and Te Kuiti Ridings of the County of Waitomo, that part of the County of Taranaki lying to the east of a line along the Wellington-New Plymouth Railway and the Waitara Branch Railway, that part of the County of Inglewood lying to the east of the Wellington-New Plymouth Railway, and that part of the County of Stratford lying to the east of a line commencing at the point where the Eltham-New Plymouth road crosses the Waipuka Stream; thence along the said road to and along the most north-easterly road of Midhirst Village, to and along Beaconsfield Road, to and along Ohura Road, to and along the Pikau Stream, to and along the Patea River, to and along Skinner Road, to and along Cheal Road, to and along the Eltham-New Plymouth road to the county boundary.

BAY OF PLENTY

All that area comprising the Borough of Rotorua, the Borough of Whakatane, the Borough of Opotiki, the County of Whakatane, the County of Opotiki, and that part of the County of Rotorua lying to the south of a line along the south-western boundary of Section 3, Block II, the western and south-western boundaries of Section 13, and the south-western boundaries of Sections 6, 10, 8, and 9, Block III, and the south-western boundaries of Sections 8, 4, 5, and 7, Block VIII, all of Rotorua Survey District, to the Tauranga-Rotorua Road, along that road and the Awahou Stream to Lake Rotorua, along the generally northern shore of Lake Rotorua, and along the Ohau Stream to Lake Rotoiti, along the generally southern shore of Lake Rotoiti to Rotoiti Block, along the southern boundary of that block and the southern boundary of Hongi’s Track Scenic Reserve to the Rotorua-Whakatane Road, and along that road to the county boundary; and including White Island, Whale Island, and other adjacent islands.

GISBORNE

All that area comprising the Borough of Gisborne, the County of Matakaoa, the County of Waiapu, the County of Uawa, the Motu, Mangatu, Waipaoa, Waihuka, Karaka, and Kanakanaia Ridings of the County of Waikohu, and that part of the County of Cook lying to the north-east of a line from the sea along the Waipaoa River to the road forming the northern boundary of Kahunui Block, along that road and the road forming the north-eastern boundary of Pouparae Settlement, to and along the Opotiki-Gisborne Main Highway, to and along Harper’s Road, to and along Back Ormond Road, to and along the Opotiki-Gisborne Main Highway, to and along Ford Road to the Waipaoa River, and along that river to the county boundary, and including East Island and other adjacent islands.

HAWKE’S BAY

All that area comprising the Borough of Wairoa, the Borough of Waipawa, the Borough of Waipukurau, the County of Wairoa, including Portland Island, the County of Hawke’s Bay, excluding the Electoral Districts of Napier and Hastings hereinafter described, the Ngatapa Riding of the County of Waikohu, the Hautuma and Mount Herbert Ridings of the County of Waipukurau, the Patangata, Oero, Tamumu, Mangatarata, and Pourerere Ridings of the County of Patangata; that part of the County of Cook lying to the south-west of a line from the sea along the Waipaoa River to the road forming the northern boundary of Kahunui Block, along that road and the road forming the north-eastern boundary of Pouparae Settlement, to and along the Opotiki-Gisborne Main Highway, to and along Harper’s Road, to and along Back Ormond Road, to and along the Opotiki-Gisborne Main Highway, to and along Ford Road to the Waipaoa River, and along that river to the county boundary; that part of the County of Taupo lying to the south-east of a line from the southern boundary of the county along the Mohaka River and the Taharua River to the intersection of the last-mentioned river with the south-eastern boundary of Tauhara South A Block in Block V, Maruanui Survey District; thence along a right line to the intersection of the Rangitaiki River with the Taupo-Napier Road in Block III, Maruanui Survey District, and thence along a right line to Te Taumutu Trig. Station in Block XVI, Heruwi Survey District, and that part of the County of Waipawa lying to the north of a line along the Makaretu River from the county boundary to a road forming the western boundary of Lot 78 on Deeds Plan 307 in Block III, Takapau Survey District; thence along that road to and along the Palmerston North-Napier State Highway, to and along the road leading to Takapau Township, to and along the Wellington-Napier Railway, to and along the Takapau-Waipukurau Road, to and along Awanui Road to the Maharaeke Stream.
