IT is notified for public information that Mr. Harold Queree has been appointed to the position of Agent of the Public Trust Office at Leeston.

Unclaimed Lands.—Notice by the Public Trustee under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its Amendments

To the owner of the following land, that is to say: All that the one-half share or interest in fee-simple of which Elizabeth Wilson, of Wellington, Married Woman, is registered proprietor (as tenant in common in equal shares with Talbot Giles Brazier, of Kimbolton, Farm Hand), in all that parcel of land containing 1 acre 3 roods 3 perches, more or less, being Suburban Section No. 32, Township of Kimbolton, Block XIII, Apiti Survey District, and being the whole of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 449, folio 103 (Wellington Registry).

WHEREAS, after due inquiry, the owner of the first-mentioned one-half share or interest in fee-simple in the above-described land cannot be found:

And whereas the said owner has no known agent in New Zealand:

Now, the Public Trustee hereby calls upon such owner of such one-half share or interest in fee-simple, of which Elizabeth Wilson, of Wellington, Married Woman, is at present the registered proprietor (as tenant in common as aforesaid), within six months of the date of publication of this notice in this Gazette, to establish to the satisfaction of the Public Trustee his or her title to the said land, and if he or she does not do so the Public Trustee will exercise as regards the said land the powers and authorities granted to him in and by the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its amendments.

CROWN LANDS NOTICE

Town Land in Hawke’s Bay Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease

District Lands and Survey Office,
Napier, 26th March, 1946.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Napier, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Tuesday, 7th May, 1946.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Napier, on Thursday, 9th May, 1946, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, and lease fee.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LAND.

Patangata County.—Oero Survey District.—Village of Elsthorpe

SECTION 11, Block VII: Area, 1 rood. Capital value, £15; half-yearly rent, 7s. 6d.

This section is situated in Elsthorpe Village and would be suitable for a dwelling-site.
