Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936
Manufacture for Sale of Footwear
J. W. Moore and Son, Ltd., Nuffield Street, Newmarket, Auckland, has applied for an extension of its existing license so as to permit the manufacture of women’s, maid’s, and girls’ footwear by the cemented process.
Suckling Bros., Ltd., 18 Dundas Street, Christchurch, has applied for a variation of its existing license so as to permit the manufacture of footwear by the machine-sewn and fair-stitched methods in Leeston in lieu of Christchurch.
Radio-manufacturing Industry
Frank Barnett, P.O. Box 7, Dunedin, has applied, on behalf of a co-operative company, for a license to manufacture radio receiving-sets.
Pharmacy Industry
A. D. McIntosh, 2 Fitzherbert Street, Lower Hutt, has applied for a license to open a new pharmacy at Paraparaumu.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
E. H. Cole, Horopito, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on proposed new service-station premises situated at Main Highway, Horopito, and for a temporary license to resell motor-spirit from a portable pump to be installed at present garage premises, Horopito, until such time as the new premises are erected.
M. W. Bridgford, Main North Highway, Massey, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed on service-station premises at Massey.
Pyne, Gould, Guinness, Ltd., High Street, Temuka, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on the kerbside, fronting premises in High Street, Temuka.
E. L. Weston and M. P. Raleigh, Leigh, have applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on the kerbside fronting store premises at Leigh.
W. L. Brinkworth, Bryce Street, Hamilton, has applied for permission to transfer his motor-spirits retail license in respect of two pumps from premises in Bryce Street, Hamilton, to a new site situated at the corner of Bryce and Selkirk Streets, Hamilton.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than the 11th day of April, 1946, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to the Secretary, Bureau of Industry, G.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.
