Exemption Order under the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940,* the Minister
of Transport doth hereby order and declare that the pro-
visions of clause (1) of Regulation 7 of the said regulations, so far
as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors, shall not apply
to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following
provision shall apply :—
A motor-driver’s license issued under the Motor-drivers Regula-
tions 1940 to the person described in Column 1 of the Schedule
hereunder may authorize him to drive a heavy trade motor in the
course of his employment on a farm or market-garden of the respective
employer described in Column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not
authorize him, while he is under the age of eighteen years, to drive
a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1944.—Revocation of
Declaration of Essential Industry No. 3 and Amendment
IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 11
of the Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1944, the
Minister of Industrial Man-power doth hereby revoke the Declaration
of Essential Undertakings No. 3, as published in the New Zealand
Gazette No. 3 of the 22nd January, 1942, together with the amend-
ment thereto, as notified in the New Zealand Gazette No. 60 of the
18th June, 1942.
This revocation takes effect as on the 30th March, 1946, and
affects the industry of butter and cheese making in respect of every
cheese factory and creamery registered as a manufacturing dairy
under the Dairy Produce Regulations 1938, including the main-
tenance and repair of plant and machinery of such factories and
creameries.

Declaration of Essential Undertakings No. 34
IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 11
of the Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1944, the
Minister of Industrial Man-power doth hereby revoke the
Declaration of Essential Undertakings No. 34, as published in the
New Zealand Gazette No. 14 of the 12th February, 1942.
This revocation takes effect as on the 30th March, 1946, and
affects the dried-milk factories of the concerns set forth hereunder:—

New Zealand Gazette No. 14 of the 12th February, 1942.
This revocation takes effect as on the 30th March, 1946, and
affects the casein factory of the concern set forth hereunder:—

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 11
of the Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1944, the
Minister of Industrial Man-power doth hereby revoke the Declaration
of Essential Undertakings No. 50, as published in the New Zealand
Gazette No. 23 of the 5th March, 1942, together with the amendments
thereto, as notified in the New Zealand Gazette No. 60 of 18th June,
1942, and the New Zealand Gazette No. 7 of 1st February, 1945.
This revocation takes effect as on the 30th March, 1946, and
affects the staff of the Head Office and the Laboratory of the New
Zealand Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., at Hamilton, and the staff
necessary for the maintenance and servicing of factory plant and
machinery.
