ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing in the middle of the Opihi River at a point opposite to the northernmost corner of Rural Section 27460 in Block XII, Tengawai Survey District, and proceeding thence down the middle of the said river to its mouth; then southerly along the sea-coast to the mouth of the Pareora River, and up the middle of that river to a point in line with the road fronting Section 81, Rosewill Settlement; then to and north-westerly along that road and Cannington Road to the Cave Railway-station; then across the Railway Reserve and Tengawai River to the left bank of the said river, and along that bank to the western boundary of Section 27, Albury Settlement, and along that boundary, the western and north-western boundaries of Section 22 of the said settlement, the western boundaries of Rural Sections 28941 and 27460, and the production of the latter to the middle of the Opihi River at the point of commencement: excepting therefrom the Borough of Timaru hereinbefore described, also the Town District of Pleasant Point, and all the lands north and south of the said borough which are vested in the Timaru Harbour Board.

IN pursuance of the Labour Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of Labour doth hereby revoke, as from the 30th day of March, 1946, the Woollen Mills Labour Legislation Suspension and Modification Order 1943.*

Notice amending the Boundaries of the Waikato Rescue-station Levy Area
——
WHEREAS by subsection (4) of section 6 of the Coal-mines Amendment Act, 1936, it is provided that every rescue-station established in accordance with the foregoing provisions of the said section shall be established in respect of an area to be defined by the Minister by notice published in the Gazette:
And whereas the Minister of Mines, by notice appearing in the New Zealand Gazette of the 22nd day of February, 1940, defined an area (known as the Waikato Rescue-station Levy Area) in respect of which a rescue-station might be established:
And whereas by subsection (4) of section 6 of the Coal-mines Amendment Act, 1936, it is also provided that the boundaries of any such area may be from time to time amended by the Minister by notice published in the Gazette:
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the said subsection (4) of section 6 of the said Act, I, James O’Brien, acting for the Minister of Mines, do by this notice amend the boundaries of the Waikato Rescue-station Levy Area by including therein the area described in the Schedule hereto.

Registered Medical Practitioner prohibited from dealing in or issuing Prescriptions for Dangerous Drugs

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Dangerous Drugs Regulations 1928, I, Arnold Henry Nordmeyer, Minister of Health, being satisfied that Walter Granville Carew, a registered medical practitioner, has committed a breach of the terms of the license deemed to be held by him under the said regulations, and acting on the recommendation of the Medical Council, do hereby revoke the license deemed to be held by the said Walter Granville Carew under the said regulations, and do hereby prohibit the said Walter Granville Carew from issuing prescriptions for the dispensing of dangerous drugs.
