WAIPUNA DREDGING COMPANY, LIMITED
NOTICE OF MEETING OF CREDITORS
NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the Waipuna Dredging Company, Limited, will be held on Monday, 25th March, 1946, at which a resolution for voluntary winding-up is to be proposed, and that a meeting of creditors of the said company will be held, pursuant to section 234 of the Companies Act, 1933, at the registered office, 134 Lichfield Street, Christchurch C. 1, on Monday, 25th March, 1946, at 11.15 a.m., at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs, together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims, will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the company, and, in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

I, DOUGLAS ALEXANDER, of Dunedin, in Otago, New Zealand, Engineer, heretofore registered by the name of DOUGLAS ALEXANDER ARMSTRONG, but called and known by the name of DOUGLAS ALEXANDER, hereby give notice that on the 8th day of March, 1946, I renounced and abandoned the use of my said surname of ARMSTRONG and assumed in lieu thereof the surname of ALEXANDER; and, further, that such change of name is evidenced by a deed dated the 8th day of March, 1946, duly executed by me and attested and enrolled in the office of the Registrar of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, Otago and Southland District, at Dunedin, on the 13th day of March, 1946, under No. M. 6/226.

WAITOMO ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Conversion Loan, 1946, of £13,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, and section 20 of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1935, the Waitomo Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the half-yearly instalments of principal and the interest in respect of the new securities authorized to be issued by the Waitomo Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Acts, the said Waitomo Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of forty-three one-hundredths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within its power district; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year until the last maturity date of such securities, being the 1st day of April, 1959, or until all such securities are fully paid off.”
