Authorizing the Laying-off of a Road of less Width than 66 ft.

WHEREAS in the opinion of the Minister of Lands it is inexpedient, by reason of the fact that the land shown upon the plan of Town of Onehunga Extension No. 78, affecting portion of Allotment 8, Section 13, Suburbs of Auckland, situated in Block IV, Titirangi Survey District, North Auckland Land District, is intended to be used wholly for residential purposes, that Kelsey Road shown thereon should be of the width of 66 ft.:

Now, therefore, in pursuance of the power conferred upon him by section 17, subsection (1), of the Land Act, 1924, and of every other power him thereunto enabling, the Minister of Lands doth hereby authorize the laying-off of Kelsey Road of a width of not less than 40 ft.: Provided always that it shall not be lawful for any person to erect or cause to be erected any building at a less distance than 33 ft. from the middle of such road.

Given under the hand of the Minister of Lands, this 6th day of December, 1945.

Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1944.—Revocation of Declaration of Essential Undertakings No. 119 and Amendments

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 11 of the Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1944, the Minister of Industrial Man-power doth hereby revoke the Declaration of Essential Undertakings No. 119, as published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 92 of 15th October, 1942, together with the amendments thereto, as notified in the New Zealand Gazette No. 114 of the 23rd December, 1942, the New Zealand Gazette No. 34 of 13th May, 1943, and the New Zealand Gazette No. 46 of the 5th July, 1945. This revocation affects the bacon-curing establishments of the undertakings set forth hereunder:—

Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1944.—Amendment to Declaration of Essential Industry No. 6

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 11 of the Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1944, the Minister of Industrial Man-power doth hereby amend the Declaration of Essential Industry No. 6 by including in the list of undertakings exempted from the provisions of the declaration the undertaking set forth hereunder:—

  1. Position: 298° 1,650 ft. from orange light on Glasgow Wharf. Lat., 39° 28′·4 S.; long., 176° 55′·1 E. (approx.).

Details: A red buoy has been moored in 20 ft., low water, to mark the 12 ft. rocky shoal charted about 50 ft. inshore of the buoy.

  1. Additional to the above buoy the following low-water depths are to be inserted in the New Zealand Nautical Almanac plan of Napier Harbour in the following positions from the above light:—

14 ft. 282° 2·52 cables.
15 ft. 291° 2·90 cables
12½ ft. 295° 2·70 cables.
