NOTICE is hereby given that the lease of the undermentioned land having been declared forfeit by resolution of the Westland Land Board, the said land has thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

Town Land in Auckland Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease

Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland 26th November, 1945.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924 ; and applications will be received at the Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 11 o'clock a.m. on Monday, 21st January, 1946.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Tuesday, 22nd January, 1946, at 10.30 o'clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year's rent, broken-period rent, and lease fee.

This property is suitable for development as a grazing run-off to be used in conjunction with other land on Hauraki Plains. It is situated fronting Kirikiri Road, twelve miles from Thames; an all-weather road from Kopu reaches almost to the section boundary, the remaining access comprising a clay road. Easy undulating to hilly and broken country in bush scrub and second growth. The soil is clay loam on clay formation, fairly well watered by streams.

Special Condition

As the section is offered for grazing purposes only the Crown will not be liable for providing any better access than that already exists.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned education reserve is open for selection on renewable lease under the provisions of the Education Reserves Act, 1928, the Public Bodies' Leases Act, 1908, and section 6 of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1944; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Napier, up to 4 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, 8th January, 1946.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Napier, on Thursday, 10th January, 1946, at 10 o'clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately at the conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at the conclusion of the ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year's rent, broken-period rent, and lease fee.
